Stumbled upon this while clearing out the attic.

She visited my primary school in Edinburgh shortly after releasing TPS. The girl in front of me (my friend and train-to-school comrade) was Southeast Asian and has an incredibly elaborate sounding name. When Joanne screwed up her face when my friend gave her her name for the signature, I laughed. This is how she decided to sign my copy.

I was laughing at you, JK.

Okay? Im all for kids/people expressing themselves (never said I didn't, js putting words in my mouth), but letting children use chemicals that change their biology before they're fully developed is something I will never support. So if you see me as a "villain" for that so be it, but I stand where I am

Yeah unfortunately people's beliefs aren't easily influenced by words on the internet, unless the algorithm feeds it to them time and time again.

If someone is genuinely blind to the fact that equating transgender care with "enabling rape and pedophilia under the guise of supporting nonsense" is hateful misinformation, and that them being okay with propagating those ideas places them very far down an extremist pipeline, it's kind of impossible to talk them out of that.

Nope. Not judging. I just dont think that "transitioning" into another gender is something that can be done, your born the way you are. You frame it as this discriminatory hate/comparing it to racism (which is beyond insane) but I dont hate these people, nor dislike.

Let's see the data then. Let's see the data for the trans women and drag queens we hear so much about. Where are the bathroom assaults by trans women? Oh wait, they are essentially non-existent? Meanwhile trans people are an extremely vulnerable population with a suicide rate that is FAR higher than the average without care who are actively getting even more persecuted by these shit-head people many of whom literally want them eradicated.

Meanwhile the people who preach this totally fucking ignore the actual problems, the actual data that supports women being hurt and assaulted, the data that supports children being hurt and assaulted. You know by their straight male partners and kids by people they know and trust or by their fucking church leaders.

But let's ignore all that and go after trans people because rah rah rah that's a group we don't like.
