Nothing since we taste our buds all the time

Do you think if someone else tastes it it would taste different? Since they're only used to their own taste buds

A person who thinks all the time has nothing to think about except thoughts

Take my upvote BUT technically they don’t actually touch each other when they’re embedded in your tounge and isn’t it the touching that creates the taste thoughts to your brain? Taste buds might be able to taste other taste buds or other types?

Maybe taste bud extraction from all the children Willy Wonka kidnapped was the secret ingredient to his everything gum

That's like asking someone what their upper lip smells like.

It's so small that you wouldn't be able to register anything but the instrument with which you picked it up
