humankind hiccups 😅 The way this German bakery writes their S.

Post image

Is this a common way to write S for Germans?

UPDATE: I reached out to the bakery, it's in a large US city, it was opened in 2011 and owned by a couple who immigrated from Germany many years ago. The sign was written by one of their workers who is not German, and does their community outreach/participation in Farmer's markets. This was the first time it was brought to their attention. Looks to be innocent, but not well thought out.

They're doing it for the same reason Kiss did.

Because they thought it looked cool?

Because they're "joking" about being Nazis.

Probably not, Gene Simmons is Jewish, was born in Israel actually.

Stanley was Jewish too lol.

But, here in the year of our lord, we have people saying that the font they used was a nazi dog-whistle. Crazy.

lol. Didn’t want to make the argument too complicated for some people. Probably the same one who support graffiti swastikas on teslas, while calling others Nazis and believing we should all switch to electric cars.
