My Raynaud’s makes my fingers and toes turn dead white and numb. Never seen full on Acrocyanosis from Raynaud’s

Me either. Raynauds was not my first guess. This is pooling of blood, right? Whereas Raynauds is restricted blood flow.

Mine reacts to blood sugar more than hot/cold. But I have a lot of dermal fat retention from a comorbidity I can't get diagnosed. (I lost 60pounds and can grab my ribs, but I still haven't lost enough weight for them to bother checking for something else)

Does it happen when you're blood sugar is high?

Sorry they haven't figured it out. Keep on complaining till they figure it out.

its purple when I'm coming up on time to eat and pink after. I sometimes get breaks of being just a slightly tanned person.

Have they screened for Addison disease?

No just for diabetes several times and told me to lose more weight.

I wasnt holding any midsection weight at the time but I still have as I did then some persistant arm wings and thigh fat. Seemed like not diet in the world was going fix that. Or workout, jobe dutyies at the time involved lifting a 50gal barrel in harness up to an approved emptying station.

100% what I was going to suggest too.

An endocrine panel with ACTH and Cortisol would be my next ask of my doctor.

My sister's dermatologist told her I don't know, just take allergy meds for now & see what happens. I can't tell anything unless I see it happen right in front of me.

They can go white, then purple, then back to pink, that's what happens to me

I still don't think this is Raynauds. Happens at any temperature and to his feet and legs. My mind would swing towards peripheral vascular disease.

That'd be the umbrella term yea.

I have it in my head, causing migraines until. I figured it out. No colour indications!

Weird question, if you are swimming or cold your skin feels itchy or hurt? My teen was swimming as usual in the ocean and she told me " mom I need out my skin feels like it's Sloughing off/shedding again."

And that's something she tells me when the water is cold.

I am very sensitive to cold water, but I’ve never experienced that particular sensation

I have Raynauds, dermatographia, and I'm "extremely prone to just flushing" according to my derm and I rarely go white. Straight from pink to purple/blue.

I’ve got some shocking tealy blues a few times before. Looked absolutely insane, and they weren’t even numb or anything.

Do you ever get a blue tinge to your nails? I keep noticing that there seem to be two different common patterns for Raynaud’s phenomenon:

Classic- your digits go white and numb in pretty clearly demarcated sections. They will probably turn a bright red when the attack stops, and might swell and be a bit uncomfortable. Your vessels are constricting in an abnormal pattern (ie effecting two fingers, and sparing the others despite them all being the same temp). The temperature this starts at varies heavily by individual; some people have to feel cold before they react, where others react at subtle temperature drops.

Disseminated- your nails tinge blueish when they are even slightly cold, if a bit colder then your the tips of your digits turn white, if colder still the digits tinge blue, and if colder then that they’ll suddenly go purple or red. Your vessels are reacting in a normal pattern to cold temperatures, they’re just reacting dramatically early. (Ex: my toes are blueish because it’s a balmy 72 F in this air conditioned room, when I’m used to it being in the 80s.)
—
Out of the other people I’ve talked to with Raynaud’s, all of the men had the classic pattern and most of the women had the other pattern. The women I’ve met with Raynaud’s are were on average much younger than the men I’ve met with it. Because of these two factors, I wonder if anemia or blood pressure affect how it shows up?

(Sorry for the essay, oops)

Wait wtf my sisters hands & feet have done that a couple times in the last years & she waited 6 months to be seen by a Fancy dermatologist & he said 🤷‍♂️ just take allergy meds & see what happens. I can't help you unless it happens in front of me
