electrifying energy ⚡️ She remained calm, even though danger was near

This feels more like some sort of PSA production

u/LoonyRick Sep 09 '26
Clearly staged. Especially when she points at the guy and he points after, like “that guy right there?”
But good PSA for kiddos

u/SomeDumbPenguin Sep 09 '26
Yeah, the timing and maneuvers seem off... And I think she's displaying rightfull panicking, not quite calm

u/PrettyPurrfect Sep 09 '26
Fine any adult and set them on the creep. Then run while the adults fight

u/AnrianDayin Sep 10 '26
Guy cant even chase down a little girl. Predators just aren't made like they used to be
45
u/Ill-Percentage-3276 Sep 09 '26
And it doesn't even make sense. Why would she turn around at the beginning and be the one following this guy into the building when she could have continued on, already outside, surrounded by people in public?
25
u/pandaru_express Sep 09 '26
That actually makes sense. She didn't know that guy was a creep but its safer to let them go first so they're not following you. Same idea as the recommendation if someone follows you into an elevator, let them push their floor first so they don't just "happen" to also be on your floor. Not really foolproof in any way, but 99% of the people following you into an elevator just want to get to their own floor anyway.

yes the guy was right behind the door but it's good info for the kids.

The way that hoodie guy stalks after her like Michael Myers is what makes me incredulous.

Is it normal for so many cameras to be in this building?
Edit: I'm not saying it isn't real. It would just be surreal to me to live with that many cameras around

u/QueefTamer Sep 09 '26
Our landlord just put a fake camera by the mail room lol. It spins back and forth but it doesnt record anything and it runs on a AA battery. Some people have the camera doorbells though

u/ChaosTorpedo Sep 09 '26
Cameras with clear, in color, continuous images. It’s not greyscale, fuzzy, and a picture every 3-5 seconds. This isn’t real.

u/RevenantExiled Sep 09 '26
Are you time traveling from 1990? this is totally normal, at least in California

u/BakaDani Sep 10 '26
Yea my job involves working with security camera systems. They are way better than you think. The only cameras that look like shit there are either old or dirty.
I'd pass this off as real security footage. This video probably isn't, but that's how good they are these days.
Even consumer security cameras are pretty damn good and quite affordable. The shit I work with are enterprise hardware costing thousands each and tbh the consumer ones I've seen are just as good. But oh well. Not my money lol.

Our company has loads of older camera and they aren't grayscale recording ever 3-5 seconds I think the camera system is atleast from 2012 maybe older.
Some of course are newer since well they are good but some are older and still the software/hardware switches to low light mode (grayish) or colour mode depending on the light.

And NYC, when I was a doorman 15 years ago the whole building had camera coverage.

With subtle camera crane & dolly motion as well, I see. Well, it's Hollywood land so I expect nothing less.

u/nervousforager Sep 09 '26
I have cameras like this all around my house and they're not that expensive
1
u/Mrsfix-it Sep 09 '26
Why?

u/nervousforager Sep 09 '26
My neighbours were breaking my stuff and throwing trash in my yard and threatened to poison my garden

I'm in agreement with others on this thread: It looks staged, possibly as a PSA or training video. A "what to do if.." instructional video, followed by a pop quiz kind of deal. I expect there are probably other variations on this exact video showing what NOT to do.

u/SouLoWOG Sep 16 '26
It's not common but yea i have seen quite a few areas with butt load of cameras.

Plot twist : the little girl keeps the door open and hidden accomplices join her to rob the place.

Interior door swinging outward like that seems like it would create problems for people coming upstairs.

This seems fake AF but I'm still upvoting hoping it gives someone the confidence they need.

I hate that we now have to decide if something is real, staged, or AI. It was hard enough with just the first two!

If I was out kidnapping kids (which I rarely do these days)
I would be way smoother than this.. this is clearly staged!
