Among my circle it very much is. We were out there this past winter doing the right thing. But is it generally well-known throughout the state? Also, is it known outside of Minnesota? Did it catch on or is it now passe? My sister wore her rebel loon sweat shirt hanging out with MAGAts in Illinois and they just thought it was a cool design. They had no idea.

I made this audio recording with the Merlin bird ID app last night, but it couldn’t identify a species (although it said it was “Hearing a bird”).

MINNEAPOLIS – A former high school principal is accused of sexually assaulting a student over the course of several years, according to new charges filed in Hennepin County District Court Monday.

Mary Lynn Donaldson, 67, of Robbinsdale, is charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving penetration with a child between 13 and 15 while in a position of authority and felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a child between 16 and 17 while in a position of authority.

Donaldson is accused of sexually assaulting the student while he was enrolled at her school from 2008 to 2012, starting when he was around 14 or 15 years old.

The complaint is attached in the story and does not say what school employed her as a principal during that time. Case number 27-CR-26-27063.

Thank you for making it easier to vote early. I will be working a 12 hour shift 75 miles from home on election day, it would be very difficult to actually get to my polling place on time. My wife and I just went to city hall, filled out an application, and voted today. No need to worry about rushing home, weather, or wildlife interrupting my commute. Thank you Minnesota for making things easier for working people.
