Do you mean removed from the sub? Removed and deleted are two different things. Deleted content shouldn't be visible to anyone. Removed content will still visible via a link, and will still be visible on the user's profile.

Removed posts, you can see removed posts so that you can know if there's a pattern of blasting out similar spammy posts across a bunch of subs.
Deleted are gone for everyone but admins

Do you mean "deleted" (users delete) or "removed" (mods/filters remove)? I don't think anyone can see a deleted post aside from maybe admins (employees of reddit). Removed posts, IIRC most you wouldn't be able to see but if it was removed by reddit filters or Automod you may still be able to see them on a user's page.

No, I mean like I can see posts that users have deleted in other subreddits in their history

Because they commented on them and didn't delete their comments? Or do you mean in some other way?

Hi /u/eleinachubmob, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.
Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found match: mobile
You might be asking about setting up subreddits on a phone or mobile interface. The short answer is that subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)
If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod" or "Thanks, Automod". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.

As a mod, it's generally useful to be able to see what someone posted and then deleted from your sub. Since you're a mod of the community, that's probably a good thing for your ability to do your job.
Answering the "why" question, this is a legacy aspect of reddit's design from early days: deleting a post unassociates it from that OP's account, but the post itself is still visible for those who have the link or are involved in the thread/sub. Other people might want to keep on discussing in the comments.
