DIY uBurst confusion
So I've had a uBurst 1.1 PCB + parts laying around for years and I finally got to building it. There seems to be very little info online on how to build and flash it so I tought I'd ask here to clarify a few of my confusions.
- Do I need the JTAG connector to get this module running?
- Can I solder all the SMT before I flash it? (hoping it's ok as I have most of the C and R on already D:)
- Is there anything else that I should know?
I already had the magic smoke come out of a nRings a few weeks back so I don't want to screw this one up as well.

You will need the stm programmer to flash the firmware.
The jtag is going to use 4 wires. I have the document on my pc I can get later if you dont figure that out. look for mutable jtag pinout or swd to jtag
Download the firmware from this dont bother trying to compile it. you need both the bootloader and firmware

you need to solder at least the power stuff for the ic but might aswell finish it. you need the crystal soldered

Ok first of all thank you so much and wow that was quick! I was expecting some weeks of waiting for any info on this 😄
But wow this is a lot to take in. I will look into all of this and will get back to you if I can't figure it out. Thank you again!

Oh and one important thing I forgot to mention:
I cannot find R11 (4.7R) on the PCB.
I've gone through it a thousand times and on both sides. There's also no picture for that component on jakplugg's github in the folder uburst_values.

top left by the big ground plane power area, if im lookn at thr same pcb
err bottom right ,,, looks 1206 size
the bom does call for 1206 not sure it thats gona matter

There's no marking of R11 on the board there. Can it be a printing error on my board?

i am seeing some pcbs with no label, idk whats up with that, i think im looking at the right board, also its 1206 size idk if you need to match that

I'm getting an STLINK/V2 for the flashing process once I'm done with building this so that's convenient!
There's at least another missing component tag on the pcb for IC2 but fortunately I can see these on the picture of the board now.
With D1 I'm having trouble as the component (MB1S) doesn't have the same orientation marking as the PCB. It does have marking for - and + connectors but I haven't found the info I need to figure out which way those should go on the board. Any idea?
