I would say you’re probably gonna enjoy it, but it needs a metal base so the magnet can hold it down. Otherwise it’s gonna be unpleasant to use if it moves around.

It's very nice but you need a solid base it weighs next to nothing.. tuning it to your liking is easy as well

it looks fine, but why not put the money toward a functional set of paddles, which can be used on the air when you're ready?

It says it has a 3.5 mm jack and is compatible with "ham radio equipment".
