We need these Brothers to come back and make legit films again. Most of their solo outings ain’t cutting it (for me).

Joel’s Macbeth adaptation was pretty cool. It’s just Ethan who’s been cooking up straight bullshit the last few years

Honestly, I think Ethan Coen could write really cool Hard Case Crime novels; but the way it is nowadays, his stories for films just isn't cutting it.

I feel like that Macbeth adaptation isn’t talked about nearly enough; I’m not a Shakespeare nerd so I don’t have a lot to compare it to, but I thought it was really cool especially the expressionistic production design

I enjoyed Joel’s Macbeth but holy hell, Ethan’s films were really bad. Honey Don’t was crap. They are stronger together.

I would love to see them make a few movies with Leo. They would be such a great match.

Joel since the split: Macbeth. (And the very promising Jack of Spades.)
Ethan since the split: [content removed for possible defamation against Ethan Coen]

I’m going to need the detectives and sleuths to figure out which actor that’s since passed was written to be in that cancelled film of theirs
