If you're new to MPC, you might want to check out the MPC Bible. It is a full tutorial course that teaches you almost all the features of the MPC. And it includes sample files so you can work along with it

https://www.mpc-samples.com/product.php/268/mpc-bible/

And if you are brand new to making music, I recommend this interactive web based tutorial from Ableton

https://learningmusic.ableton.com/

It teaches fundamentals of making music. It is intended for complete beginners. It even teaches a little music theory.

You can do on your phone. And what you learn applies to any software or hardware. Including MPC.

Because it's interactive, you can have a little fun with it.

Make the first project a small one: one phrase sampled from the PT01, four chops and a drum pattern. Save it and reopen it before moving on, so you know you can get back to your work next time.
