Overpopulation on chimpamzees sounds terrifying tbh

Well the good news is they'll probably reduce their population when they start killing each other

Societies are like living cells. They get so big, then they're destined to split. That's why empire-building is always a terrible idea, destined to eventually fail.

The human population has more than doubled in my lifetime.
Years ago as human populations grew people moved into other less populated territories… now we fight each other.
I had one kid and one only. We can’t keep adding people to the planet

I’m old. 61 and female. So I’m definitely not the typical Reddit demographic.
The human population when I was born was 3.27 billion. It’s over 8 billion now and it makes me sick. I’ve seen beautiful places turn into parking lots and nobody seems to care.
I had one kid only and got my tubes tied after.

Why do you think eyes are on the moon and Mars again?

So billionaires can go build their utopia while the rest of us can burn on the world they destroyed?

You think they're going to clean their own toilets and maintain their own robots?

Yep, really awkward when they were counting and there was one chimp left over.
Poor Jerry.

Somehow my eyes skipped over 'group' and it sounded like very late stage mitosis

Visited this group a couple ago. Was amazing to be around them but also slightly terrifying. Splitting up is natural though. Look how many gorilla families there are in Uganda
