Question (N26) Haunt Psyrender mind control XP

Hello for the second day in a row! Another question. Under gaining XP is states that if your action directly causes an enemy model to be seriously injured or go out of action you the that sweet level up juice. With mind control you are controlling your opponents model and making them shoot. Does that count as indirectly injuring an opponent if you happen to take one out? Do you gain any of the XP or just laugh as a mining laser guy mercs his boss?

As Arbitrator I'd rule that the psychic power was the the direct cause of the enemy being seriously injured and assign the XP for it, the other way is screwing over a player for trying to use a unit to do what it was designed to do.

Thats what I figured, but I was just curious as the wording "direct" felt like there was room for interpretation.

It's your activation, it's your action.

I'd say so, I'd also be tempted to give the mind controlled ganger the same xp too, he learned some things
