Clay cafe?
How does it work? Is pottery painting everyday?.or do I specifically have to wait for it to be an event day on their event calender?

My wife and I did it a couple of years ago just for something to do. We just walked in, you choose an item and they vary in price. Paint it and then they glaze/fire it for pick up in a day or two.

You don’t need to book anything in advance, except for the classes/events. You can drop by anytime during their opening hours, except during certain events. The staff will give go over everything need to know and get you set up.

You can go in any time, pick an object to paint, pay for it, and then the staff will help you get the paint/glaze ready and show you how to do it. Many of the staff are artists so they know what they're doing. You can paint as long as they are open lol, then the staff will fire it and you can pick it up in a few days.
There are also events, like a class where everyone does the same thing. Some classes are painting pre made objects like you can do any day, while others are more advanced like actually building an object made with clay. You would have to check their websites calendar or call for something like that! Have fun.

I find it can be super busy sometimes so if you’re not into crowds it might not be great

You can call and ask the staff that work there questions. They’re nice.
But it’s open unless they’ve got events on, for you to show up, pick your pottery piece, paint as long as you want, and leave. Events are extra and have more restricted time.
