Build karma, marinate a few months, sell for someone to use to manipulate or scam.

Couldn't you that with way less karma? Like just enough that you can post to subs with minimum karma limits?

I don’t think it’s just permission. It’s also believability. I’m more inclined to believe an older account with plenty of karma and a healthy post history. Some subs are for trading goods and crypto and account ages/karma are used to gauge trustworthiness.

A large amount of karma carries the implication of being a legitimate person that folk agree with, that can be used to manipulate conversations and general sentiments

For anyone who hasn't seen it, take this as your sign to watch Attack on Titan. Even if you don't like anime or have never watched anime in your life. There are no grating "anime-isms", no fan service, just pure fantastic plot, characters, world building, animation, and one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. It's one of those pieces of media where I wish I could forget all about it so that I could watch it again for the first time

I went from attack on titan as my first anime to cowboy bebop but didn’t like the episodic nature of it.

Haha I agree it is hard to top. The animes that have come closest to AOT for me are Vinland Saga, My Hero Academia, Mob Psycho 100, and To Be Hero X, I'd recommend one of those next
