Two Brave Boys Rescue Drowning Man From The Jaws of Death in The Ganges

In a remarkable act of bravery, two young men saved a man from drowning in the Ganges River after he was caught in a powerful water current.

According to eyewitnesses, the man suddenly lost his footing and began sinking into the fast-flowing river. Spotting the immediate danger, the two youth did not hesitate for a second. They courageously leapt into the strong currents, reached the struggling man, and quickly managed to pull him safely out of the water.

Thanks to the prompt action and alertness of these two brave individuals, the man’s life was saved. While this inspiring incident stands as a powerful example of humanity and courage, it also serves as a crucial reminder for everyone to exercise extreme caution before stepping into deep or fast-moving water bodies.

Can't imagine a worse river to jump in, let alone aspirate.

27

u/HoneypotCoco 4h ago

I just though about swallowing all that water. If aspiration wasn’t bad enough, there’s gotta be some sort of foreign body in there.

There are literal dead human bodies in there. The Ganges is a sacred trash receptacle and one of the most horribly polluted bodies of water on the planet. A few billion gallons of raw sewage pour into it every day.

u/Sunaruni 4h ago

Sacred Raw Sewage, get it right.

•

u/Distredon 18m ago

No, actual sewage. Sacred sewage is just a an add on

-1

u/cuteawwlover 3h ago

Don't they pour in a lot of milk every year? Or am I thinking of a different river?

-6

u/Sad_Mathematician259 2h ago

??? its trashy but bodies?

u/Miserable-Session-35 4h ago

Get some balls Dude or jump in and swallow some

0

u/narutoaerowindy 4h ago

The river flows fresh water brought from the Himalayas.

3

u/Miserable-Session-35 4h ago

Go get it

u/kadinani 2h ago

Are you getting paid for this or your religion gives you bonus for these comments?..

2

u/GeraintLlanfrechfa 1h ago

When it eventually meets the ocean, probably about 0.27% of that Himalayan water is left

0

u/Raneynickelfire 3h ago

Nah, definitely a local.

10

u/kadinani 2h ago

You sepoys had to literally derange the conversation.. doyou even know where this location is before commenting water is dirty?.. just because your religion spreads hatred you don’t need to spread this in every post..maybe your religion gives bonus to post on kafirs.

•

u/enbycraft 16m ago

Lemme translate this for non-Indians.

"You're criticizing the level of pollution of this river which is sacred to us hindus. This is only possible if you are a muslim and Islam gives a bonus to post about non-muslims (kafirs)"

This is the state of delusion Indian hindus are living in.

•

u/kadinani 6m ago

Now the cat came out.. I never mentioned a religion name..but you obviously gave yourself up and proved my point.. have you seen the ganga in rishikesh?.. for me, fuc** all religions..

•

u/popular_tiger 42m ago

I agree with you that it’s not nice to see the top comment on this post being about water pollution rather than the act of bravery. But why are you stooping down to that low level and throwing hate against other people when you’re (rightfully) asking others to not do the same? (As an aside, you don’t even know their religion, or if they’re religious at all)

•

u/kadinani 41m ago

There is a proven phenomenon on this angle..I will leave at it..

•

u/WelderBubbly5131 5m ago

Bro I am a Hindu myself, and have no delusions about how polluted Ganga and Yamuna are.

Burnt dead bodies and industrial sewage both dumped in the same river cannot make for a clean one no matter how sacred it is.

Yamuna receives 58% of New Delhi's waste.

u/Raneynickelfire 3h ago

Hepatitus X reporting in!

X being a variable a-z.

•

u/Independent-Ruin926 6m ago

Hey illiterate racist/pakistani. It's hepatitis not hepatitus

u/Mr_wise_guy7 5h ago

I didn't know steel balls also gave you enough buoyancy to swim. 🤔

7

u/zjlmmfj3rd 4h ago

Could be completely wrong here, but I used Google Translate on the sign as the guy in the white shirt jumps in, states it’s prohibited to use soap in the water 😭

6

u/SapirWhorfHypothesis 4h ago

Probably for the best. Soap wouldn’t help the health of the river.

1

u/atomsmasher66 3h ago

Pouring a clean river into that river wouldn’t help it either

2

u/bothfetish 3h ago

The solution to polution is dilution, right?

•

u/New-Reputation681 52m ago

Yeah it's a holy river so soap isn't allowed

35

u/Artegas23 5h ago

Very brave indeed to jump in that river.. what in the fucking bot hell is this post

8

u/alepponzi 4h ago

OP is very brave.

-19

u/Excellent-Quarter969 4h ago

Seriously River moves they jump in pull a guy out. Kudos to them for doing the right thing, can't say a required a lot of bravery though. Unless the bot was referring to the bacteria and toxin stew

11

u/telusey 4h ago

Was that two lifeguards at the end there? Why did they just stand there doing nothing?

14

u/level1hero 4h ago

“Looks like they’ve got it. Time for lunch 😗 “

1

u/MikeMac999 4h ago

-9

u/SpaceXmars 4h ago

Most Indians are raised to be lazy

11

u/Independent-Ruin926 3h ago

Racists see a normal river with almost no large pieces of litter or waste, but cant stop spouting nonsense about the river coz racists.

-2

u/Sad_Mathematician259 2h ago

its polluted as fuck man the comments are not racist only 1 or 2 are racist

•

u/uranusisaaplanet 24m ago

This is in haridwar, where in the river is near its start, the water is relatively clean here, and downstream it starts getting polluted with the ritual offerings. Quit your yapping

8

u/itanite 4h ago

I feel they've just earned the title of Men, even if younger.

5

u/Miserable-Session-35 4h ago

He looks like not saved

2

u/CHERNO-B1LL 4h ago

Did they though? Looks an awful lot like they dragged the lifeless corpse of a frail old man out of the water.

3

u/Noobmaster_1999 1h ago

Endless bots posting videos from India and redditors hating anything and everything about it

2

u/Classic_Truth4780 4h ago

No way I'm jumping in the Ganges river. I'm watching homeboy perish from the side lines

1

u/Dajearian 5h ago

Close call

0

u/AlienInOrigin 4h ago

And they all die in a year from some mysterious illness that caused their skin to fall off.

7

u/Independent-Ruin926 2h ago

Your racism 101 class taught you wrong.

1

u/QuePsiPhi16 4h ago

So there was an entire crowd watching?

1

u/LousyReputation7 4h ago

Isn’t going into the ganges a death sentence in itself? Fuck that stupid shit.

1

u/Raneynickelfire 3h ago

...and now they all will die from hepatitus a-z

1

u/DarkDaysBrightNlghts 3h ago

First dude jumped In like a real pro!

1

u/cozidgaf 2h ago

In jeans and shirt nonetheless

1

u/EvilMatt666 2h ago

They all later died.

1

u/deadspacekillers 1h ago

I didn't see any sharks in that water. False title.

2

u/mulberryadm 1h ago

If anyone ever feels useless, think of the yellow shirt guy towards the end. Goes and stands there, blocking others, does not even once extend a hand to pull the boy out from the rescuers. Gaawd.

0

u/Mysterian999 4h ago

They should be proud of this their entire lives.

0

u/748Rider 4h ago

Died later from ingesting toxic waste.

0

u/vma08 4h ago

this ain't america

1

u/SpaceXmars 4h ago

0

u/matttyboii 4h ago

He dead later though. From that water toxicity

0

u/salemonz 4h ago

Good camerawork. Moved forward. Tracked the action perfectly. Moved forward again. Some others kept the pathway clear for the cameraman to move.

0

u/EDRNFU 4h ago

They could’ve just titled it “Two brave boys jump into the Ganges”

0

u/FedeFSA 3h ago

After so many depressing news in other threads, this restored a little bit of my faith in humanity

•

u/earth_mail 40m ago

That river looks fine.. why were we told it was polluted like crazy

-1

u/johntwoods 4h ago

I thought the Jaws of Death was an actual thing located on this part of the Ganges, and that our man was headed right for them.

-1

u/Open_Potato_5686 4h ago

Lmfao bullshit

-4

u/kk1485 4h ago

They all got some weird disease from swimming in that cesspool.

3

u/Sad_Mathematician259 2h ago

this section looks clean enough

-3

u/Large-Difference-409 4h ago

Yeah but those two men are coming back as cows in the next life so it’s worth it

5

u/bosorero 4h ago

Location instructions unclear.
Reincarnated as cows in America for McDonalds.

-2

u/SapirWhorfHypothesis 4h ago

Cows? Brother, they’re coming back as big fat lazy Americans, living a truly easy life.

-2

u/BourbonSn4ke 4h ago

Saved from drowning in the ganges only to die from bacterial poisoning from the ganges

2

u/level1hero 4h ago

I hear the Ganges is so powerful that even those who don’t drink from it eventually die

-3

u/PervyPair 4h ago

Two incredibly brave youngmen. That took some bottle.

u/Professional-Ad4852 4h ago

India scares the shit out of me. I'm a midwesterner who has traveled the rivers and lakes of of the US, and the Saraha to the Alps to Tokyo and everywhere in between but I don't have the nerve for India. Being in tech they also say that may not be a bad idea. I think North Korea, and Iran are likely places I'll never make it to either although I'd love too. I think India still scares me more than either of them too.

2

u/Sad_Mathematician259 2h ago

yeah cuz you are of low iq who gets info from social media. You think every river is dirty in india and people beat you up wherever u go or smth?

1

u/Professional-Ad4852 2h ago

I'll just ignore rape culture and their level 4 travel warning to rural areas. Sorry to disrupt your rape culture.

1

u/Independent-Ruin926 2h ago

Surely a Pakistani larper

-1

u/Sad_Mathematician259 2h ago

1- the rape percentage in USA is FAR FAR FAR FAR higher???
2 - India is level 2 over all and level 4 areas exist in almost every fucking country??

So you are just plain racist huh calling me a rapist, did your parents not raise you right? if you believe in god you are sure as hell letting them down

-1

u/Professional-Ad4852 4h ago

Lots of down votes. Id love to understand that hate.

1

u/rash-head 4h ago

You should not leave your house. I am Indian and you might run into me anytime anywhere. It’ll be bad for your mental health. 😱🤣

1

u/Professional-Ad4852 3h ago

I'm involved with the sponsorship process for H-1B visas. I have weekly conversations about cricket matches they are followingI have no fear or Indian people, but the infrastructure and lack of respect for the communities is what scares me.

3

u/njan_ninde_thanda 2h ago

Bro just say you are a racist and move on. Why have to go through hoops to justify it

2

u/Professional-Ad4852 2h ago

I have prejudices, so do you. I am not a racist.

2

u/njan_ninde_thanda 2h ago

Buddy how obvious do you have to be to say North Korea or Iran is better than India. Its funny racists trying to virtue signal when they are racists. Your dislike of India has no objective or statistical merit. Its just your feelings or perception especially when you take north korea over India
