Just wanted to share my current pride and joy piece of nier replicant, still have one empty spot to fill up as seen in the pictures and it’ll be my 5th and last session. (Hopefully) P.S. some of there faces look a little funny but I promise they’re look great in person lol. It’s just the angle of the pictures.

I recently finished automata and on most videos i go to i see people talking about how boring it was to replay the game just as 9s. However, i thought that 9s's combat was different enough from 2b to be just as fun, especially the hacking minigames. Not to mention i loved the extra scenes and the plot twist that the humans were already dead. Especially the extra scenes with adam and eve.​​

How does the VIP experience work for the concert in Paris?
Do we get early entry or fast-track lanes?
How does the meet and greet with the artists work after the concert?
My concert is on Tuesday and I would like to have more information.

I personally don't know where I stand with this because yeeeee it is a bit weird that 9S looks 14 - 16 years old, then again I do think it is kinda hilarious that Yoko Taro San suggested an Explicit scene in the NieR Anime, BUT ANIPLEX DIDNT AGREE TO IT-

I kinda feel like it's more of a sister-brother relationship, but romantic would also be valid to be honest because- THEYRE ANDROIDS. I am not sure Androids have the same concept of minors as we do..

(P.s. what I find funny about the anime Explicit scene suggestion by Yoko Taro, is that he is notorious for pushing limits to the point where it gets artistically weird I'm sorry I can't describe it any other way why do I sound kinda disgusting- )

I honestly have no clue what I did wrong with this quest, when I first got it I immediately made a beeline to all three locations because the idea of fighting other androids that went rogue was really cool but I couldn’t find them. I then assumed it was either glitched out or I needed to complete another quest or get a certain item to trigger, so I decided to continue progressing. I figured it would either get the spawns to reset as the game updates my quests, or eventually let me find what I needed to and so I habitually rechecked the area whenever I passed by for another quest. I even went all the way to the top of tower at one point thinking maybe you just had to be really thorough. And then I went back to the spots after fighting A2 since that definitely seemed related to the quest, but neither of those worked. I did also look online and saw a couple posts that the spawns were bugged (and funnily enough the tower thing I just did could potentially fix it) but they were all from 8+ years ago and I didn’t look too hard to avoid spoilers so that’s probably not it?

However after the quest was disabled I know suspect that the twins showed up at the resistance camp along with A2 were the betrayers in question using stolen chips, and that I just missed a specific item or spot to trigger the quest. For A2 it’s obvious she was literally at the factory in the Anemone’s past quest. And the twins look like older YoRHa models like the corpses at the flooded city and resistance camp jukebox, have older YoRHa weapons, one of them is wary of us specifically and Anemone has a line where she seems like she’s about to tell us something important about them but stops herself. So anyways does anyone know what I can do to trigger it or if it just bug? The idea that it just glitches out until you permanently lose access to is infuriating since it’s the most intriguing sidequest that showed up right as the plot started revealing more layers.

No spoilers please I am just so dumbfounded and flabbergasted that I couldn't fathom what just happened. EXCUSE ME WHAT HOW TF DID THINGS TOOK THIS TURN!

Since I had no friends who had played this game so I can't exactly share with them but the things that happened my brain just short circuited.😵

I love nier replicant

I'll keep this short: Automata is my favorite game ever alongside the OG Resident Evil 4. I've already played Automata a couple times over the years, and while I also enjoyed Replicant I'm not sure how to explain it but it just didn't put me in the same mental space as Automata. If I were to explain it somehow, I'm looking for Automata-esque games in the sense that they create the same feel with their package of story, soundtrack, worldbuilding, themes and characters. And I thought this would be the only place where people might kinda understand what the hell I'm trying to explain. So lads, any reccs?

So my girlfriend got us tickets to go to the Nier orchestra in a few months. Im curious what all lore is required to understand the story aspect of it? Like is playing the game enough or should we read up on some side material? I’m pretty well informed of NIER game lore, both replicant, automata, Drakengard and some other stuff. My girlfriend doesn’t know anything about NIER so I want to catch her up to the lore but only what’s essential to understand the orchestra and story. Thanks!

did anyone else had a feeling someone forgot to take off their mic and sometimes coughed a little bit? or am I crazy😭
there was coughing here and there from the crowd but sometimes it sounded like it came straight out of the mic/speaker?
I just want to know if I'm crazy or not haha, my partner had this feeling as well

Hey guys I started playing Nier Automata this week, I really liked this game the open world exploration, the ambience, the music and the worldbuilding. I have played for a total of 30 hours till now and this is in the span of 6 days.

Well when I played till ending A it felt like the story was missing context or build up to the plot points like it just started and happening but we never got much explanation, this problem is solved by the ending B route. My favourite background explanation is for the songstress, Damn never have I expected this unique looking boss had such a history.

When the lines repeated "Why won't he look at me" I felt the pain and in the end she said "MEANINGLESS" "Someone please look at me!" Even though there was no voice I can somehow hear her desperate cry. It's just truly heartbreaking when you struggled everyday for someone and in the end that person won't even acknowledge you, I can't even imagine!

There are many more lore drops and stuffs which I understood few and others I didn't understand but well there are still 3 more endings so I will wait till then and after that watch a video essay of the story.

I still feel like The main quest the ending A and B one story felt like it lacked a bit of buildup, I mean everything is just happening and then the giant Goliath appeared in flooded city suddenly adam kidnaps 9S and we killed him and then after that showdown with eve. I know they gave some context with ending B route about them but it felt like they were just killed so quickly. Am I the only one who feels like this?

Tbh I am pretty tired now after continuos Playthrough and don't really feeling like progressing anymore for few days. I regret one thing for progressing this fast in a span of few days. Even though I didn't rush through the game and completed almost 75% of the quests. I should have taken my time and created memories of so many good and emotional side quests. Anyways guys that was it for the review. I am gonna progress again soon with a fresh mind!

I'm doing my first playthrough and am realizing that there are a lot of things I'm missing or can't complete because of previous unfinished quests. I didn't know how the game was structured and that I wouldn't be able to go back and complete quests after certain main storyline acts :( I'm nearing ending C but I can't even upgrade my pods because I didn't get the part S items. I love the game and am super invested in the plot but I'm worried I'll be missing more than I would like to. The gathering keepsakes quest is what prompted this because I didn't know how to complete it but it seems I won't be able to based on other posts :(
