Question What is Trent wearing for this tour?
Sorry if this has been asked / posted before.
But out of curiosity… I’ve noticed Trent’s been wearing pretty much same style of clothing for every show during this tour.
Does anyone know what brand it is? Or is it custom? I’m referring to the vest, thin long sleeve shirt and leather cargo pants.
I know Trent’s a fan of Rick Owen’s, wears Adidas, Hoka etc… but not sure if they are Rick Owens?

It’s Julius - a Japanese brand. I think NIN’s official IG account posted about it but can’t be sure exactly.

repeat outfit for sure! I'd wear it until it could no longer hold together even after constant sewing. unironically a cool look too - free kinda punk style I'm wanting to emulate

That seems like a bargain. As a poor it makes me feel bad. There’s a ton of leather in those pants. The materials cost must be relatively high, and they require specialized training to construct. Couple thousand monies seems very cheap, maybe too cheap? Probably could be twenty thousand units of currency because Lamb leather. Maybe I’m wrong, but in a world of 80k purse a 20k pair of pants seems reasonable and 2k pants a steal

In absolute terms, yes it’s expensive. Relative to similar brands, it’s about normal (if not slightly cheaper).

The vest, pants and boots are all a japanese brand called Julius. The pants - which I see most people talking about - are called Gas Mask cargo pants. There are several different iterations of them, ranging from straight leg, to tapered to skinny.

yes! many Japanese brands and brands like Rick make lots of cuts that are suitable. You might even be surprised with having to downsize as some of the clothing is purposely oversized by 2-3 sizes

His outfit has motion sensors. In Copy of A, the silhouette of his movements are replicated on screen. It’s not just camera work, there are sensors attached to him.

That’s not sensors, I’d bet money it’s a live estimated depth map done in Touch Designer.

I wonder how many they have of the same clothing item. He’s wearing the same thing every night and looks absolutely drenched by the end of it. I can’t imagine they are washing the same thing and reusing it every show.

I have a friend who works on Broadway and she took me backstage after a show. The main character has this one insanely detailed, intricate outfit and turns out despite them getting super sweaty in it every night there is only one of the outfit. They spray it with a diluted alcohol (I’ve also heard vodka!) to disinfect it and then have fans going on it for hours to dry it out. I’m not sure if that’s how it works for leather though!

Have done many theater productions and yeah, getting your costume wasted from alcohol spray is what is typically done post show. It works for a bit but there are diminishing returns the longer the show runs lol.

I always wonder if the artists get their clothes they wear during the show dry cleaned after every show or if they have multiple of the same outfit. I'm sure the clothes get sweaty and stinky. The things that keep me awake at night!

The pants are Julius gas masks, top could be julius or Rick.
Shoes look like rick
His vest was Boris bidjan saberi
He was wears avante garde which all flows together and gets you that look.

I was at the concert and was high, I gaslit myself into thinking this was a harness and he was gonna fly. I was very very very sure and was actually sad when he didn't. I wanted to see Trent fly :(

The thin long sleeved shirt is actually a short sleeved shirt that has the vest attached. You can kinda see the separate sleeves in your pics but it’s hard to tell. There’s a separate long sleeved shirt underneath.

I saw a cameraman go up to the top of the venue in Fort Worth but nothing else was shown on our screens so maybe they were recording from afar for the DVD

Pants are Julius waxed denim Gasmask Cargos. Vest is probably Julius as well. Boots and t-shirt/long sleeve could be Rick Owens, but possibly Julius too.

I have been trying to figure out what the heck he is wearing. There is shot of him somewhere during this tour with a mesh tunic hanging out from the other garb. I don’t think he wears it every time but what do I know??? 😜

Sup! Saw Trent from the floor seats bout 25 ft, next to stage "B" in NC last week. Looks like hes gonna go play paintball, or airsoft yeah? Lolz. Looks like an old black set of cover-alls ya get from a military surplus store; simple, effective, metal, industrial, and Goth ... nailed it.
