The Downward Spiral Thrift store find. The staff member couldn't understand why they were priced $5ea. Charged me $1ea instead and added a 20% discount.

I collect vhs tapes and I frequent a local thrift that sells tapes for $1. One of the employee recognizes me when I shop there and one day there was a complete 12 tape box set of David Attenborough’s Trials of Life but no price tag. Even if it was $12 I was gonna buy it. I had a few other things and when I was at the register he was like “hmm no price tag?” And I joking said “how about $1” He paused and said “why not you shop here all the time!”

Curious, why do you collect a bad format? VHS and cassettes are terrible quality so why waste money on that?
Or is it for the booklets and cover aesthetics?

Nice! When I bought my first car a 1995 Dodge spirit it only had a tape player I remember having a really hard time tracking tapes down I eventually found kooler than Jesus by tkk and it never left the deck the entire week I had that car before the engine seized

Thankfully I run the entertainment bit so that wouldn't happen I would of put them out for a £1 each and then paid for the NIN ones for 75p with staff discount 😁

PWEI is pretty awesome. One of the only bands that Trent signed to Nothing Records. I'm guessing it was Dos Dedos Mis Amigos, which is a solid album.

The Ministry album The Land of Rape and Honey on the far right is amazing. Please give it a listen all the way through. It’s tied with Twitch as my favorite of theirs.
