Any good recs on where to toss a cast net? World’s worst fisherman asking. lol

Walk the soundside and/or look for a creek or drainage ditch not too stagnant or youll only catch mud gudgeons. Youll see the mullet just throw at them.

They were running in the surf on Ocracoke 10 days ago but that blow might have scattered them temporarily.
