That’s happened to me at a CareConnect in Georgia. It was insane. The staff later marked me in my chart as a drug seeker.

I can’t even take opioids.

That’s crazy. Is there any way to appeal that kind of thing?

I just don’t see doctors anymore. They’re too arrogant to be useful these days. I see doctors when I leave the state but Georgia itself doesn’t really have healthcare so much as it has corruption. They’re really just there to call you a liar, a drug addict, or crazy, and then they take your money and run.

I’ve gone in for broken bones and been told I was a liar before they even tried x rays. Then they get the imaging back and it’s “oh, there’s a torn ligament too. Oh. Uh. Well. Here’s some pain pills.” WTF!?

I genuinely think it’s because it they can’t throw an opioid at it, they have no idea what to do. And since the addiction crisis is at its worst (because pain doesn’t exist and everyone is just making that up to get high, duh) that means they’re effectively useless. They have no purpose anymore. Pointless completely. So I only see doctors out of state now. I even traveled to Tennessee last time I had pneumonia just to avoid seeing a Georgia doctor because they’re universally just hacks. Still haven’t met a single doctor that knew even the most basic skills of medicine. There’s no oversight here. No one even tries to keep them honest. Georgia exists solely to exploit the people that live there.

This is my nightmare. One time I went for an eye doctor appointment that had Telehealth doctors that controlled exam machines remotely. The one tech left for lunch and no one on the retail side knew I was back there so I was just sitting in a dark room for thirty minutes.
