Narco-Restaurateurs Connected to Ron and Nicole

Post image
6 Upvotes

The chart outlines the connections between Ron Goldman, Nicole Brown Simpson, and several Los Angeles restaurant owners suspected of involvement in drug trafficking.

Ron and Nicole both frequented the same social circles, and Nicole was connected to her sister Denise Brown, who dated AC Cowling, a driver in the low speed chase.

Several restaurants, including Mezzaluna, Dragonfly, Splash, and Cent’Anni, are linked to individuals with alleged criminal connections. Mezzaluna manager Keith Zlomsowitch is connected to Keith, who also managed the Colorado Mezzaluna, while Michael Nigg, who was shot in the head, is linked to the restaurant network.

Brett Cantor, owner of the Dragonfly nightclub, was stabbed and nearly decapitated and was friends with Ron and Brett. Meanwhile, restaurant owners Ronnie Lorenzo and Joey Ippolito were roommates, with Lorenzo jailed and Ippolito a fugitive following drug trafficking investigations.

The diagram presents these relationships as a network of personal connections, restaurant businesses, violent crimes, and alleged drug activity, though it does not establish that the connections prove involvement in the murders.

Wow, anybody know what happened to Brian Heiss' YouTube channel?

His page was a library of information for those who believed in OJ's innocence. Now, he has apparently removed a lot of OJ videos, leaving only 3. There's no one I sent there on recommendation, even the staunchest believers in his guilt, that didn't come away with questions in their beliefs if not an outright change of mind.

She was arrested and subsequently booked into the Cass County Jail on Thursday, September 10. The West Fargo Police Department, who reportedly arrested her, did not respond to the outlet's request for comment as of September 11.

Flashback: Remember when Jeffrey Toobin was caught Masturbating on a Zoom Call?

Post image
5 Upvotes

Jeffrey Toobin, the New Yorker legal journalist who covered the O.J. Simpson murder trial, appears to have attended many of the criminal proceedings in person. Yet we all know what seemed to be on his mind, which may help explain why he appeared to overlook or gloss over some of the most crucial points of the case.

And, of course, years later, Toobin became infamous for a very different kind of courtroom-adjacent distraction when he was caught exposing himself during a Zoom call in 2020. The incident became a major scandal and ultimately cost him his position at The New Yorker. It was an extraordinary reminder that, whatever his reputation as a legal analyst, Toobin has occasionally found himself making headlines for reasons that have little to do with the law.

Before you shake his hand, though, you might want to have some sanitizer handy.

Faye Resnick’s Boyfriend Became O.J.’s Friend — Then Gave Revealing Testimony in the Simpson Trial

Post image
9 Upvotes

Christian Reichardt is a California chiropractor who became a notable figure during the 1995 O.J. Simpson murder trial. A practicing chiropractor since 1983, Reichardt became one of the first certified chiropractic sports physicians in the United States in 1986 and later developed a practice in Santa Monica that attracted Hollywood celebrities and professional athletes.

Reichardt was also known for his relationship with Faye Resnick, a close friend of Nicole Brown Simpson. The two were romantically involved before their relationship ended, and Reichardt subsequently became acquainted with O.J. Simpson.

During Simpson's 1995 murder trial, Reichardt testified for the defense about a telephone conversation he had with Simpson on the night Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were killed. Reichardt said Simpson sounded relaxed and jovial during their conversation, which the defense used to challenge the prosecution's portrayal of Simpson's state of mind that evening.

Reichardt also became relevant to one of the defense's alternative theories of the murders because of his former relationship with Resnick. The defense wanted him to testify about Resnick's alleged drug use and suggest that the killings could have been connected to drug dealers targeting her, but Judge Lance Ito ultimately ruled that Reichardt could not give that testimony.

Beyond the Simpson case, Reichardt continued his career in chiropractic care, with a particular focus on sports injuries and rehabilitation. He has worked with Olympic athletes and professional golfers and has also written about his experiences in the chiropractic profession.

Reichardt was a friend of O.J. Simpson and became closer to him after the murders. He described Simpson as a “dear friend” and acknowledged that they were closer after Simpson’s arrest/release than before.

  • He did not initially believe Simpson was guilty or innocent. He said that when he first visited Simpson in jail, he hadn't made up his mind. He said he eventually concluded Simpson was innocent in the weeks before the criminal verdict, largely because of what he perceived as problems with the prosecution's handling of witnesses and information.
  • He was highly critical of prosecutor Christopher Darden. Reichardt called Darden a “jerk” and claimed Darden didn't properly investigate Reichardt's information about Faye Resnick. He said he told Darden that Resnick's book contained stories that didn't happen as described and that Resnick had contacted him while writing the book to try to reconstruct dates and events. Reichardt said Resnick was subsequently dropped from the prosecution's witness list.
  • He claimed Faye Resnick did not have the diary she supposedly relied upon for her book. This is probably one of the more significant allegations in the deposition. Reichardt said he told Darden that Resnick “never had a diary” on which she based her book and that some of her stories didn't happen as she portrayed them.
  • He described an alleged attempt by Robin Greer to present herself as having been present for conversations with Nicole that she wasn't actually present for. According to Reichardt, Faye told him Greer had approached her about providing information and potentially claiming she had been present during certain conversations with Nicole. Reichardt testified that Faye refused. Importantly, this is Reichardt recounting what Faye allegedly told him, not firsthand evidence from Greer.
  • Immediately after the murders, Reichardt, Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner apparently considered the possibility that the murders were drug-related. He testified that they were concerned about Faye's safety and wondered whether it could have been a drug hit. He acknowledged, however, that he had no actual evidence connecting the murders to drugs.
  • Faye's reaction to A.C. Cowlings is interesting. Reichardt testified that Cowlings called the house roughly two weeks after the murders, spoke to Faye on speakerphone, and wanted to talk with her. Faye became extremely upset, screamed at him and hung up. Reichardt subsequently called Cowlings back and said they would talk when Faye felt better. They never did.
  • Faye told Reichardt almost immediately that she believed O.J. killed Nicole. He confirmed that this was what Faye told him when they first spoke following Nicole's death.
  • Reichardt had extensive contact with members of Simpson's defense circle. He testified about meeting Johnnie Cochran for dinner and at his office, knowing Robert Kardashian socially, meeting F. Lee Bailey and Robert Shapiro at court, meeting Barry Scheck/other defense figures, and interacting with Simpson's lawyers at Simpson's home.
  • There was contact between Reichardt and Simpson's attorney immediately before the deposition. Two days before the deposition, Reichardt was at Simpson's house and spoke by phone with Daniel Leonard, Simpson's lawyer. Reichardt said the discussion was essentially about the upcoming deposition. He denied discussing Faye, drugs or substantive issues in the case.
  • O.J. knew Reichardt was being deposed. Reichardt visited Simpson's house shortly before the deposition. Simpson apparently told him “Good luck on Friday,” but Reichardt said they did not discuss the substance of his testimony.
  • There were potentially relevant financial records. Reichardt acknowledged that he probably had records showing money received from Simpson, such as deposits or bank statements, and agreed to obtain bank records concerning financial dealings between himself and Simpson or Simpson's representatives.
  • He had previously given Barbara Walters an interview but refused other media requests. He said numerous authors and journalists contacted him about the case, but he declined to comment and routed them to his attorney.
  • He admitted that his accusations against people profiting from the murders were partly speculation. He accused Kris Jenner, Bruce Jenner, Candice Garvey and Faye Resnick of exploiting the murders, but when pressed, acknowledged that he had no evidence that the Jenners or Garvey actually received money. He ultimately agreed that he was “only speculating.”
  • He did NOT claim O.J. confessed to him. When directly asked, Reichardt said Simpson had never told him that he killed Nicole or Ron, but had also never explicitly told him that he didn't. Reichardt said he never asked Simpson, “Did you do it?”
  • He acknowledged that a confession would change his mind. When asked whether Simpson admitting the murders would alter his opinion, Reichardt said that if Simpson himself said he committed the murders, he would obviously change his mind.
  • There is a potentially interesting story involving Xanax and Ron Fischman. Reichardt testified that, according to his understanding, Nicole asked O.J. to check on Ron Fischman, who was under considerable stress. O.J. allegedly obtained Fischman's Xanax from him because O.J. believed Ron shouldn't be taking the pills. Reichardt said this was how he understood a Xanax bottle later associated with O.J. came into his possession. This is explicitly presented as Reichardt's understanding, rather than something he personally witnessed in full.

Why Reddit Hates O.J. Simpson: The Verdict They’ll Never Accept

Post image
10 Upvotes

Honestly, the reason Reddit seems to hate O.J. Simpson so much is pretty simple: most people there believe he did it.

And then there's the evidence. The blood, DNA, gloves, timeline, his history with Nicole, and everything else surrounding the case are enough for most Redditors to say, "Come on, he obviously did it."

The civil trial also plays a big part. Simpson was later found liable for the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, and for a lot of people, that only reinforces what they already believed about the criminal case.

Then you have Nicole's history of abuse. That's something people today tend to take very seriously, and it makes the prosecution's argument look much more convincing to a lot of people.

And, honestly, I think there's also a bigger reason for the hatred: people feel O.J. got away with it. He was a huge celebrity, had an incredibly expensive defense team, and ultimately walked out of that courtroom a free man. That's a pretty powerful narrative, especially on Reddit.

That said, Reddit isn't completely unanimous. There are people who believe the prosecution failed to prove its case and that the LAPD's handling of the evidence created legitimate reasonable doubt. Some of those people will tell you they get absolutely buried in downvotes whenever they question the popular narrative.

So maybe that's the real story here. Reddit doesn't necessarily hate O.J. because he was acquitted. It hates the idea that being acquitted should automatically mean he was innocent.

We definitely respect everyone's opinion on the case (we really do). But whether you think he's guilty or not, nobody should be 100% certain. Unless YOU were there.

Note: Just having some fun with the magazine Donald, hope you don't mind. You seem like a good sport.

Shouldn't O.J. have been planning the murders on June 11th?

And let's not forget the Chicago red eye flight he took the morning after the murders to attend a celebrity golf tournament hosted by Hertz, one of his major corporate sponsors.

So, let me get this straight. He supposedly pulled this off like a trained assassin mentored by John Wick, then left behind a trail of blood and two connecting gloves that conveniently helped lead investigators straight to him?

Meanwhile, Nicole (in a skimpy black dress) was surrounded by a world of coke, younger men and ménage à trois meet ups?

Just asking questions.

I mean, we're still allowed to think for ourselves, right? Or are we just expected to conform to the popular opinion by default?

Police would NEVER plant blood. Yeah, right. Get out of here!

Post image

Blood evidence is often portrayed as one of the most powerful forms of forensic evidence, but history shows that even blood can be manipulated. There are documented cases in which law enforcement personnel have planted or fabricated biological evidence to strengthen a case against a suspect.

For example, David Kofoed’s case is a disturbing reminder that even seemingly airtight forensic evidence can be manipulated. Kofoed, a crime scene investigator in Nebraska, was convicted of tampering with evidence after planting a murder victim’s blood in a suspect’s vehicle during the 2006 Wayne and Sharmon Stock murder investigation, helping support a case against men who were later cleared. Investigators and courts also established that he had fabricated DNA evidence in an earlier murder investigation. Kofoed’s case does not prove that planted evidence is common, but it proves something far more important: it has happened, and it happened inside a legitimate criminal investigation involving someone whose job was to collect and interpret evidence.

Think for yourself and ALWAYS ask questions.
