Im ngl i actually like parts of her new model (larger mouth + looks older since the deadlock female characters besides baba all look 20) but why would they get rid of the eyebags??? The sickly skin??? Who thought this was a good idea???
Somewhat. They found a medium for the character select screen, his character model in the hideout and during a game is unfortunately still the sauceless version they originally changed to, while his shop character model has the better face.

it makes her too "pretty" its far too much beautification, shes got less pale skin, no eye bags, bigger lashes, redder lips, bigger lips, i feel like it ironing out what made her striking in the first place, the pale skin and dark eyes especially, i mean bigger lips and i guess red is whatever im not too into it but i dunno like the fate of a character being last seems to be the devs overthinking the character design
They yassified her, removed her eye shadow, removed her eye bags, filled her lips, extended her eyelashes, and lightened her lipstick. We're taking steps backwards for her designs and there's nothing we can do about it.
The removal of the bruised eyes, the bigger lashes, and the wider red lip give more sexy nurse than I'd like. I like that the old model looked tired of my bullshit. Give her the eye bags and pursed lips back. đ
The original designs had much more personality. Taking away the sharp makeup and unique expressions just makes them look downgrade, they completely lost what made them stand out.
I quite like the differences. Sheâs sharper, meaner, more cruel looking. Admittedly she is a little too young looking and attractive in her original design so Iâm glad they sharpened her up to look a little scarier. For some thatâs even MORE attractive so good for them (us).
I like new glasses a lot and sharper chin a little

I dont like lack of eyebags+pale skin color, and bright lipstick a LOT
She lost some of that eerie design, that really tilts her just that little into "is she really a human?", playing off of her banner and leaked stuff that suggests she is more than a human.
Itâs very possible that theyâre doing it in an attempt to see if changing the character designs makes them more popular. Personally these character votes feel like valve getting a gauge on the communityâs aesthetic preferences, and the number of furries getting top votes says something about both the community and the likely future of the roster.
Iâm not outraged, I like the character. And the more unique body types you can do with furries give more unique silhouettes and more cartoony proportions, which is much harder to do with human/human-adjacent characters without making them look weird or contorted
I think in this case just calling them antropomorphic animals makes more sense. Furry really has a specific vibe associated with it that most of the antropomorphic animal characters in dead lock dont fit
I like her new model more actually. Shes supposed to be a stern, scary looking nurse who would 100% kick your ass for misbehaving. Sure, the dark circles under her eyes looked better but the new look sells the character concept more IMO
