But like his wives, I’m not psychic, I need him to TELL ME when something is wrong instead of him running off to hide out with his best friend and slowly grow to resent me for not putting the milk back the right way!
(I’ve been fancasting Wilson’s brother Danny and Unnamed Other Brother since 2005 and for a long time, once he got Internet-famous, John Mulaney was my pick for Other Brother, who I presumed was relatively “normal”. Once we found out Mulaney had a comedian intervention and went to rehab for various types of speeeeed, my fan casting could could go either way. Like maybe Wilson’s Other Brother has a drug problem but looks “better on paper” because he’s successful and not schizophrenic)
Wilson, I'd pay money to do him. He'd eventually fall in love with me, we'd marry and have babies and life happily ever after....Eh...what was the question again? 😅
Remember Cuddy has a hallucination/nightmare that House and Wilson would be living together and raising Rachel to be a smart alec delinquent Wilson would indulge and enable 😆
Wilson is the ideal for me, but we might be too similar in some aspects and make each other worse. I, too, am usually too anxious to voice my issues with friends, employers, colleagues, clients, strangers, because of The Social Contract. I’m afraid of being an inconvenience and “difficult” so I’ll smile and say “no problem” and “I understand” for way too long, because I feel like the other person has all the balls in their court, they have more to offer and take away, so I can’t risk being less than happy to oblige. It also leads to me lying when I’m burnt out, like instead of politely expressing my preferences and boundaries with how people treat me, I will claim I’m sick/busy/no car today/appointment, and then I’m consumed with guilt.
I’ve had a few House/Wilson-style friendships where I could be more open and annoyed without risking losing these girls because I was their only real friend. These girls were fun, intense, angsty, hilarious, toxic, without some of House’s upsides: they were selfish, dramatic, and mentally ill, but they weren’t drug addicts who get punched sometimes for their attitude… but they also don’t save lives, keep a job where their smarts are a huge benefit to everyone as well as a pain in the ass, etc… I BELIEVE I’ve broken that pattern - being friends with messy, demanding people whom I had less of a social contract (that I made up and doesn’t help me all that much), but it’s so hard to make friends in your 30s when you’re single, everyone you were close to moved to a different city and is married and has kids, and you’re wary about someone being secretly crazy, revealing the depths of toxicity when you’re in too deep to back out easily.
You know, I forgot this post was about who would make the best sex worker, not “who would you marry?” I stand by my answer but I know I made it sound like I’d be LIVING with my favourite gigolo/concubine.
House's ex and the hospital's lawyer. She's involved in some sort of way with one of House's old injuries, maybe like a stubbed toe or something that was a big deal at the time and they split up over it. idk, you'd have to watch the show to find out
If I were trying to remember being in a car with Amber, I’d hallucinate Cuddy as a stripper, but Wilson has the flexibility needed to be a prostitute as he’s always bending backwards for House. Chase if I were an underage girl being treated by him. Stacy if I didn’t value my consent. Cameron if I wanted like a corner street hooker who doesn’t even pretend to be interested in me. Foreman if I were a bisexual named after a prime number, I’d also pretend he wasn’t my prostitute.

Wilson. The forest nymphs have taught him how to please a woman.
