I mean the last time we beat Texas the season still ended up being dog shit.
I will have faith when we can string some wins together. Remember we had come into this game loss to Mich who is shit, nearly lost at home to New Mexico, and then just gave away the UGA game. Lets see OU a few games from now before we just assume all is well shall we?

Beating a rival is an event in itself, it’s completely different from looking at the season as a whole. You can be concerned about the latter but your comments don’t come across as excited

I find that to be Okie State type of mindset. The yay we beat big brother so whatever else happens is secondary.
Nah, this is OU I expect them to be a top tier program not a spoiler for texas.

I mean honestly, is there any bigger game to win as a sooner fan? I’ll take beating Texas over winning just shit any other game. If we beat Texas, then it’s a successful season in my book.

How about no? This sub just has the most doomer fans i've ever seen. It's filled with horrible takes and statements represented as facts despite being wrong. This sub would've had us losing 49-0 with the negativity. Texas had flaws, OU's defense had strengths.

I'm proud of what we accomplished. Offense didn't play their best, but did when it mattered. ST and defense said "we got you" and they meant it.

The defense and special teams need a major shout out.
Offense still had alot of issues especially first half but they made adjustments and played like an actual SEC team 2nd half. Mateer as much crap as I give him and still don't think he is the guy played within the game in the second half. If we had that mateer we beat Mich and UGA is atleast a good game.
We have to keep it up or we could easily fo with Florida did after beating Ole Miss and go on a losing streak next week. Stay focused and stay disrespected with that chip on the shoulder.

I'll never pick Texas to beat us. I've never picked us to lose a game. That being said, this offense gave me zero hope.
