Dude jumped in front of the car, spotter wouldn't have changed a thing even if he was present

Nah a good spotter will be ready to tackle your ass, we'd even keep a few if shit was real busy but tbh it was more to save loose boards cuz we were broke as fuck haha

Maybe the person filming should have been spotting! But then we wouldn't have seen this kid get hit by a car! Priorities! I hope he's ok.

Cab driver gets to have that on his record now.

Pretty sure the car coming in from the left at the end is a cop that got to see it wasn't the drivers fault at all

Have what, precisely? Some idiot ran into him because he was careless? No damage, and in no way avoidable for the driver.

Yeah that dude is dumb

Dumb but lucky. If he had been a second sooner he would have far bigger issues (or none at all)

OK, I'll pick you. He was driving a motor vehicle that came into contact with a pedestrian. Perhaps instead of "on his record," I should have said that he will have to "deal" with that, because if the skater is injured, there will be law enforcement, insurance, and possibly court to deal with.

Well, I hit a bicyclist once who crossed the road right in front of me, too close to stop. He rolled up onto the hood of my mustang and rolled right back off onto the pavement as I panick-stopped. The local cops were called, the cop refused to ticket me despite the bicyclists demands because he was at fault. This was even more blatant. The cab driver isn't going to get a ticket. He can't help an idiot hitting the side of his cab when HE is on the roadway where he legally needs to be. And it's on video, no less.
Go to court for WHAT, exactly? What are you seeing that everyone else is missing? He hit the side of the cab, he went into the street.

Just because a situation seems to be a slam dunk in your favor doesn't necessarily mean it won't take effort to extricate yourself.

Yeah because driver is suppose to expect some dude to jump over a bush and onto incoming traffic

At least he barely got clipped in his clip. Hopefully will learn a lesson from this
