This is my Son name

Maarij (Arabic: معارج) means "ascents," "routes of ascent," "stairways," or "ladder-like paths. It is the plural form of Mi'raj, which refers to a ladder, staircase, or a means of traveling upward.

  • The 70th Surah of the Quran: It is the title of Chapter 70 (Al-Ma'arij), which translates to "The Ascending Stairways" or "The Ways of Ascent".
  • Divine Attribute: In the third verse of the Surah, Allah is described as Dhil-Ma'arij (ذِي الْمَعَارِجِ), meaning "The Possessor of the Ways of Ascent" or "The Lord of the Stairways" , referring to the paths by which angels ascend to the heavens.

I’ve never seen a Pakistani named Adam but I’ve seen many Arabs named it. I wonder why we don’t use it as a name, I really like it

2

u/Alone-Warning6002 3h ago

There’s plenty of Adams that I know

2

Adam... A plus point is less difficulty in settling in a school decide to move abroad. He can be ay-dam outside home and aaa-dam inside home.

Adam, Ryan. I find Yusufs to be smart (N=2). Ryans are not as smart, but more ethical (N=3). Just don't pick FNU, and you'll be fine.

- Abdullah

  • Abdur-Rahman
  • Harith
  • Hamam

Abu Wahb al-Jushami reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Name yourselves with the names of the prophets. The most beloved names to Allah are Abdullah, the servant of Allah, and Abdur Rahman, the servant of the Merciful. The most truthful of them is Harith, the harvester of good, and Hamam, the brave one. The worst names are names of war and bitterness.”

Just don't use names coming from Arab colonization. Anything else is fine.

1

u/beanz1947 15h ago

The Arabs colonized modern day Pakistan ? that’s news to me

0

u/Savage_Brutus 15h ago

Go and read....... What happened in 712 AD. How many people were executed by the glorified Muhammad bin Qasim for not converting.

1

u/Due_Replacement1406 15h ago

bro u dont have to invent a different crime. "how many were executed for not converting" is a made up stat, no primary source records that. not the chach nama, not baladhuri, nothing

qasim slaughtered plenty without it. garrisons put to the sword, fighting age men executed, women and children enslaved. thats the real record and its ugly

but conversion was never the punishment. non muslims paid jizya and carried on, temples stayed open, brahmins kept collecting taxes for the new administration. they wanted revenue not converts

so why did u feel the need to pitch the fake version? the real one somehow wasnt enough for u?

yea seems like narrative pushing to me

0

u/Savage_Brutus 15h ago

Lol. Tell me you haven't read the Chachnama without telling me you haven't read the Chachnama. Go and read history before trying to defend your colonizers.

1

u/Due_Replacement1406 15h ago

ur citing a book that doesnt say what u think it says, while telling me i havent read it

nice

1

u/Savage_Brutus 15h ago

Reading is hard for you I suppose?

0

u/Savage_Brutus 15h ago

To be more exact. Does it occur to you the people he killed in his invasion why were they fighting? To resist conversion lol. (Try to learn critical thinking please. This is laughable).
