Palladium hit a 52 week low and no one is talking about it
It hit a 52 week low this month and as of today is now down 50% from the peak. I hope everyone is backing up the truck and buying as much palladium as they can! I've been investing heavily in palladium futures. It's such a great deal right now and I'll continue to buy more and more if it goes lower, if I can only be so lucky. I haven't been this excited to buy palladium since 3 years ago and I didn't think we'd see these prices again.

Problem of Palladium sales tax
Most states charge sales tax on palladium. As an Illinoisan, my best option to avoid sales tax is to travel to Delaware or Montana, load up palladium, and travel back.
Doesn’t make business sense.

1776-2026 Palladium American Eagle with 250th Liberty Bell privy mark! Mintage: to be determined.
usmint.govI am happy to see that the Mint takes feedback seriously, they missed a huge opportunity with the 2026 Platinum Eagle. Some of us reached out and voiced our suggestions. This Series needed something like this to renew overall interest. A dual-date Palladium Eagle will likely become highly sought after, depending on overall mintage.

Modern problems require modern solutions or how im replacing gold with platinum this month
With gold hitting crazy new records literally every single week i officially cant afford to stack it anymore if i want to stay married lol
so i decided to pivot
Just picked up this little 1oz platinum noble piece instead. It feels completely insane that you can buy almost two ounces of platinum for the price of one single ounce of gold right now especially when platinum is way scarcer in the earths crust. The industrial utility alone makes it feel like an absolute steal at these current levels
Palladium looks dead in the water anyway so platinum feels like the only logical alternative if you want a heavy white metal that isnt silver. Who else is completely priced out of gold at these rates and shifting heavily into platinum this summer?

Tried selling a platinum bar in my city today... What an absolute nightmare lol
Just wanted to share a quick heads up for anyone else holding physical platinum or thinking about rotating part of their stack. I decided to cash out one of my 1oz bars today (standard Valcambi, perfect condition, still sealed in the original assay card). I figured it would be a quick 15 minute transaction at a local shop. I was incredibly wrong
I went to three different jewelry/coin spots and two local bullion buyers. Here is how it went down. The first place looked at me like I handed them a chunk of weapons grade plutonium. We barely touch platinum, we'd have to ship it off to verify, come back in a week. The second place offered to buy it but the quote was a total joke. The spread was so wide I would have instantly lost almost 25% of the actual spot value. The third buyer just gave it to me straight Man, if you brought in gold or silver, I'd have cash in your hand in two minutes. We sit on platinum for six months before anyone asks for it. There's zero local retail demand
Ended up just walking out with my bar still in my pocket. It feels like this metal is only truly liquid on paper or big online brokerages because trying to liquidate it physically on a local level is a massive headache. Anyone else run into this liquidity trap, or do you just buy online and accept that you're holding it forever?

Palladium bicentennial
galleryThis is about the coolest coin I've ever seen - the Manx bicentennial commemoration of palladium's discovery. Featuring grey-eyed Pallas Athena in the front (or obverse, if you insist) & Queen Liz on the back. (Any & all flaws in these photos are mine, and not those of the all-wise goddess depicted. Also She is a way better weaver than me.)
I saw some of the pile of gambling spam posts here recently, so I'm just trying to help keep the sub on-topic.
Cheers!

I am looking to purchase multiple palladium eagles, either in original mint packaging or slabbed. I have posted this multiple times on /pmsforsale but have had little response so trying it here as well to see what I can come up with. Let me know what you have. Will pay a fair premium to spot on these rare coins. Can pay via Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, Paypal or Crypto.

Any tips on low-ish premium Palladium?
Hello everyone,
I mostly collect gold and silver, but I have an affinity for Palladium and want to buy more. At present though, I find the premiums somewhat uncomfortable both for bars and coins. As such, I only own a small amount of physical metal but have a good bit of exposure through ETP products. I want more physical metal. Any reliable sources you’d recommend?
Thank you

Palladium Jewelry?
Anyone have any experience owning or making Palladium jewelry? I currently own Platinum pieces & was wondering how different does it look. I heard the density is about half & the luster is different. Would love to see pictures if anyone has some.
