He's just bathing. They try to splash water all over them, but it doesn't work very well. They instinctively sneeze it away out of their nares.

As an alternative, you could heat a little water (no hotter than you can tolerate on your wrist, like baby formula) and spray him gently through his cage. The floor of his cage (newspaper, etc.) will get wet, and you'll have to change it. But he'll be very happy to be clean. (Make sure it's a gentle spray, not a rough stream or a harsh spray. They hate that. Only spray 10-20 times.)

Uh oh. I’ve seen this before…
You have a Silly Goose with terminal silly goosin disease. Condolences.💐

It’s super shallow, but give them a tubberware lid with water. If you have anything that can hold just a quarter inch of water that would be great.

On a side note, I would move the food bowl to the opposite side of the cage from the water bowl. Water splashing into the food bowl will make the pellets go bad.

Well I'll be! Never seen one with that colour. Possibly from the angle as well as the tail fan had me off base. Thanks for info.

I dont own parrots so correct me if I'm wrong, but my pigeons do this too, they try to bathe, but it goes up their nose so they sneeze, and then they repeat

It's bath time!

When our 'tiels let us know it's bath time, we've got a spray bottle we use to mist them down. The "get my back" or "now do under my wings" poses are almost as amusing as the meticulous preening/drip dry segment afterwards.

He is bathing,a flat shallow bowl would be better for the bird to bath in,how do you go when you have water up your nostrils

Simply a plate with shallow water is also working to provide safe baths.
