Toys

What are the best toys I can get on Amazon? The other day, I ordered some cardboard rings, but they smelled really strange (like chemicals), so I ended up throwing them away. I really like getting hanging skewers and then adding shreddable items like Chinese finger traps. I am in high school, so for the most part I’ve had to find the cheapest items my parents are willing to buy, but I got a job this year and I finally have some money to spend on some higher quality toys! I am always worried that the cheap items have some sort of residue or chemicals that aren’t good for my birds.

I personally think it’s usually most cost effective (and fun) to DIY toys! I buy toy parts from abirdtoy and mysafebirdstore. I also find this superior because I’m picky with parts- I stick to natural parts only.

Look into Bonka Birds and Super Bird Creations. Both are readily available on Amazon!

I bought all kinds of stuff for my lil buddy, but his consistent favorites are shredding scrap paper and playing with empty ink pens and clothes pins. 🤷‍♂️

I like bonka bird toys. They have 50% off sales each week.

Feathered Addictions sells affordable bird-safe toys kits so you can get safe materials and build the toys yourself. I’ve been using their services for years now, they are excellent.

Nothing on Amazon, shop from pet bird supply stores instead.
