Discussion Should developers stop making games that require 5090 for max settings now that the card is clearly not for gamers and is accessible to 0.1% of community?

I get that the games need better hardware to dun better, but who are they really making the game for if you need a 6000$ GPU at this point

A lot of games in the past also ran fantastic at max settings. What's your point exactly?

You haven't even played this game. In other games, there are very clearly noticeable differences on max vs high settings. Especially in settings like draw distance or shadows/lighting.

You're throwing out assumptions when you literally haven't even played the game.

Sorry, when exactly did I move 'the goalposts'? My response is direct to your comment. Weird.

You are claiming, as a defense, that max settings looks like high 'most of the time' anyway so it's unnecessary to run at max therefore 5090 category is unnecessary.

My response was that is BS because there are plenty of games where max/ultra DO look better than high. And that your defense makes no sense anyway because you haven't even PLAYED the game to make that claim that it's unnecessary.

That's not moving goalposts, that is you being illiterate. There is a difference
