Discussion Should developers stop making games that require 5090 for max settings now that the card is clearly not for gamers and is accessible to 0.1% of community?

I get that the games need better hardware to dun better, but who are they really making the game for if you need a 6000$ GPU at this point

require 5090 for max settings

looks inside

max settings at native 4k 60fps needs 5090

Gaming at max settings is never worth it, this dev was just transparant that max settings needed 5090 to be playable, cos in most modern games it isnt without 5090.

I'm confused at what point in the past OP assumed this was different. Must be using hindsight bias to assume everyone could play Oblivion at max settings in 1080p over 60fps.

I think the difference now is that there is no future to look forward to when it comes to hardware. Max settings used to be for future cards.

You guys are complaining about this hardcore at least since the first RTX card launched, long before any hardware crisis...
