Discussion Should developers stop making games that require 5090 for max settings now that the card is clearly not for gamers and is accessible to 0.1% of community?

I get that the games need better hardware to dun better, but who are they really making the game for if you need a 6000$ GPU at this point

5090 its not the problem, the problem its the medium and low settings, no one care about ultra max settings.

Have to use a 7900x to hit 60fps at native 1080p its crazy

Exactly, I hate being the “optimization problem” guy, but the visuals in this game are pretty mediocre. Personally, I can’t really see any advanced lighting techniques or ray tracing. We’re talking about 1080p on High settings, so it seems more like a case of Unreal Engine 5 combined with a lack of effort when it comes to optimization

The 7900x is prob for the 64mb l3 cache. Global illumination in UE 5 is a CPU hog. UE 5 is resource hungry without it, but GI being off reduces CPU load by up to 30% depending on the model. Shits insane.
