Consoles had their time and the Kings of Console thought they had solidified their power to the point that they could do ANYTHING, and the people would accept it.
The Age of PC shall come again, it will enlighten the console plebs and bring them all back to the light.

We can't afford PC parts anymore!... 😭

But you can recoup those costs in free games!

You think that, but you're wrong.

Consoles will fall when they're literally as easy as plugging one wire in their box into the wall socket, plugging a second one into their TV, and then following the directions on screen for setup. Consoles will fall when technology gets to the point where hardware specifications cease to matter entirely for PC gaming.

We're a long way from that.

Ah yes over priced parts meaning many simply can't afford to build a pc (thanks data centers) Microsoft is putting adds in games next gen

They make nothing, they earn nothing, once these corpo data centers realize that their data centres doing your math homework earn nothing as ROI, the crash on ram and gpus you will see will be beautiful, it will be so so beautiful

Oh, that's the least of our worries with data centers. Every time the Usa has spent more than 3% gdp on infrastructure its caused a depression

Technically, we don’t own our games on Steam, Epic, or GOG. All these digital storefronts also sell a license and you don’t own the game. I don’t understand how PlayStation is doing anything any differently than what PC has already done for the last 10 years

Please don't include gog in this bunch. You can download offline installers from gog. In every practical sense of the word you own what you buy from GoG.

That's what pirating is for.
If buying isn't owning, then pirating isn't stealing.
