I am going to build my first PC, and am hoping to get a good deal on a graphics card tomorrow off of Amazon, and then maybe build the PC around that. Would that be a good strategy? Also, should I be looking for a good deal on a CPU? I'm looking to end up spending $600-800 on the entire package, and I'm probably going to be mostly playing Project CARS, Fallout 4 when it launches, Cities: Skylines, and other racing/rpg titles. I remember seeing that AMD cards were struggling with Project CARS, is this still the case? Should I try to find a good Nvidia card and go from there? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm a bit nervous I'll screw this all up somehow. Thanks!

Yes it's a good strategy, yes amd still struggles with PCars. A gtx 960 or 970 would be your best bet, but I'd frankly be surprised if you find any particularly good deals. For CPU, you want an i5 4xxx.

Thank you for your reply! That is the card/cpu combo I was leaning towards already, nice to see it suggested! Eases the mind a bit!
