Option D

Cool for the bird, warm for everything else (Or vice versa)

Yeeee I think the eye looks better in cool but the background absolutely slaps in the warm

I prefer the warm, it looks natural, we expect the tropics to be green. The cool version is so blue that it doesn't really look natural anymore, it looks stylized. Which is fine if that's what you want.

I actually prefer the warm well over the others.

The better question is what <is/was> the color of the light on the parrot and what <is/was> the color of the light on the background.

Those two things are often not the same when shooting wildlife and if you try to blanket adjust color temperature or white balance you're gonna make one of them photorealistic/attractive and the other not so much. (often, not always of course)

Think of a bird in a tree with the sunset illuminating it through the leaves but the background completely lit - or vice versa - a bird in shadow while the background is completely lit by golden hour lighting. One will be warm and exposed attractively. The other may be cool or under/overexposed.

Easy fix to make in PS or LR these days.

I suppose that at the end of the day you can just tweak it till you find it attractive. To my eye the warm one has too much yellow, the cool one has too much blue. Both look unnatural. I would be inclined to select the parrot and adjust the vibrance, saturation, and/or color temperature of it independent of the background. Leave the background less saturated and brighter. You would get better separation of the parrot from its environment drawing more attention to it. You already have nice bokeh so half your work was done in camera.

I prefer cool. Better colour contrast with the other values

Cool. It draws your eye to the gold tones in its face and the brown of its eyes. The warm version doesn’t give the eye a natural place to settle.

i think often colours can enhance each other when more similar

a warm face will look warmer with a warm background
even if its warmness does STAND OUT more against a cold one

here it's like that with the eyes for me.

but there's too much green in the shadows for me

i think that's what makes people lean towards the cool one.
it's a bit like when human skintones are off

Warm, but desaturate, cool and darken the background a little.

Cool!! The eye pops so much more. Love the contrast of blue and orange.

The shape of the parrot’s head is more visible with the green background and an important aspect of every photo is a clearly defined main subject. The other two the shape melds into the background

Warm makes it feel like it’s in a forest and cool makes it feel like night time

Either one, but definitely not the RAW

Cool looks more natural to me for your colors and composition. Warm feels overedited to me personally. Great shot either way!

WARM ALL THE WAY

I always like how adding warmth makes greens and blues pop more.

I need to think about that. But either way the oversaturated colours don’t work for me.
