Newton's laws clearly state you cannot preserve that which you do not have.
However, other objects may impart them upon you, like when you get hit with a fucking double decker swing chair at maximum mass and velocity

This video always makes me think she's gonna weigh something when that swing hits her. Thing launches her without losing too much momentum and she sustains no damage.
