Unpaid Playtest Thieves and Tasers Open Playtest

Hey! We are a small indie studio working on an asymmetrical multiplayer PvP game (3-6 players) called Thieves and Tasers.

It's kinda like cops and robbers but with smokebombs and tasers! Fast paced, silly, and chaotic. Recommended to be played with 4+ players for this playtest.

The playtest is free and open now on our Steam page:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4536600/Thieves_and_Tasers/?utm_source=reddit

Any feedback is much welcome and appreciated!! Cheers!

Unpaid Playtest Oddbound

[Android] Looking for testers for Oddbound, a branching fantasy adventure

Hi everyone! I’m looking for players to try Oddbound, an illustrated, choice-driven fantasy game for Android.

You play an ordinary person whose encounter with a strange pendant—and the voice attached to it—makes life considerably more complicated.

The beta includes 12 chapters, character creation, branching conversations, little combat, hidden locations, an illustrated map, slightly animated scenes (AI) , and atmospheric music. The game is in English.

Even 20–30 minutes with the opening would help. I’d especially like to know:

  • Is it clear what’s happening and why your character is involved?
  • Do the dialogue and your available responses feel natural?
  • Where does the story become confusing, slow, or frustrating?
  • Are reading, scrolling, and making choices comfortable on your phone?
  • Would you want to keep playing?

How to join: Leave a comment or send me a private message.

Thanks for helping me make Oddbound a better game.

Playtester Looking for Android testers for a daily number puzzle (free, no ads, 2 min a day)

• Upvotes
I'm a solo dev about to launch my first game, Parfuse, on Google Play, and I need testers for Google's 14-day closed test.

The game:
You get 5–6 number tiles and a target like 591. Tap a tile, an operator, another tile, and they fuse into one. Hit the target in as few merges as you can. It's scored like golf (Birdie, Par, Bogey), with a new hole every day that's the same for everyone, plus a rule twist on some days ("No ×").

How to help:
1. Join the tester group: parfuse-testers@googlegroups.com
2. Opt in here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gorvaniq.parfuse, then install Parfuse from the Play Store
3. Keep it installed for 14 days and play the daily hole a few times
4. Feedback I'm looking for: Any bugs, confusing controls, or anything that makes you want to stop playing. Honest feedback is appreciated!

Free, no ads, no account, no tracking, works offline. Android only.

A quick note about the full-game unlock: The game has an optional paid unlock, but you absolutely don't need it to participate in testing. Please don't purchase it just for the test. If you'd like to help test the unlock process too, send me a DM and I can add you as a license tester so you can use Google's test purchase option without being charged.

If you're also looking for testers, drop your link and I'll test yours back.

Thanks for helping with getting my first game out there!

Unpaid Playtest Need playtesters for fantasy city builder game

Hey there!
I'm developing a fantasy city builder that features world exploration and dating sim elements. Right now, I need playtesters to help me figure out: is it fun to play, how do you like the art style, and what needs tweaking in terms of balance.
The game completely SFW, just some spicy portraits of advisors, nothing more.

If you like this genre combinations, you're welcome: https://guywhoknow.itch.io/rumble-will-come
Version for playtest: 0.2 prototype

Playtester [FOR HIRE] QA/Playtester - Bugs, Balance, UI, and General Feedback

• Upvotes

My Portfolio Video

Heya! I'm Just Bag and I've done work on a few published games like Atomicrops, Regions of Ruin: Runegate, and the upcoming title SWARMED. I do playtests for small devs/teams and I excel in quality assurance. I've found bugs for games that entire QA companies couldn't find. I've helped poke holes in game balance to help devs realize their oversights. I've helped find inventory bugs, create an exploit out of them, and reported the recreation notes to help fix every inventory issue in a game.
Things happen in game dev, and I like to catch even the smallest things so players can’t.

My main service is a 1-hour recording of my initial impressions of a game at a rate of 20USD. I am open to discuss the price and video length, understanding that some developers are on a budget or sometimes a tutorial takes a bit to complete. The first playtest is usually me gaining my bearings and giving my first impressions as a player. I give high quality audio voiceovers of a game recording, usually shared as an unlisted link on Youtube sent only to developers.
If you like my feedback about UI, balance, mechanics, audio/visual cues, etc., we can move on to doing multi-video contracts. With every video, I transition away from giving first experience feedback to more balance and QA testing. The more and more I play a game, I get a feel for how it’s built and can poke at the cracks in the systems.

I’m trying to also get better at game design in terms of systems, feedback loops and gameplay, content, and economy/balance. So, if you would like to take a chance on me being an assistant developer it would mean the world to me!

Feel free to DM me!

Unpaid Playtest Playtesters Needed for Dark Descent (PSX Horror)

Playtesters Needed for My Game, Dark Descent (PSX Horror) Hey everyone I'm working on a game called Dark Descent. It’s a retro PSX style horror game where you’re stuck inside a sub and have to turn a hand crank to descend.

While descending, anomalies will happen, and the only way to figure out what’s going on is to check a computer terminal in the sub. You have to monitor the computer, figure out what anomaly you're dealing with, and handle it. For example, if you hear something at the window, you have to flash your light at it, but doing that drains your power.

Current Build Info:

There isn't a main menu yet, so it just loads straight into the game. I’m mainly trying to see how the mechanics, difficulty, and pacing feel right now.

Recording & Credits:

Anyone who tests it and sends feedback gets their name in the credits. If you're able to record your gameplay so I can watch you play, that would be a huge help it's not required, but if you do record it, I'll put your name in a different color in the credits.

If you want to test it, leave a reply or message me and I'll send you the link here is a photo of game play

Unpaid Playtest Browser playtest (unpaid, ~3 minutes): is FutureTally’s football demo clear and fun?

Hi, I’m Jeff, the creator of FutureTally. I’m looking for first-time feedback on the free football demo—not asking anyone to buy access.

Play here: https://futuretally.games/#football-demo

In this fictional matchup, tap a winner, pick a team and winning-margin range, then reveal the final score and your demo points. It works in a desktop or phone browser, with no account or download required. There are no wagers or cash prizes. The demo’s result is fictional, not a live sports prediction.

If you have about three minutes, please leave a comment here:

• Was it obvious what to tap first and how to make both picks?

• Did the score reveal explain your points clearly?

• Did it feel like a game, or like filling out a form? What would make it more fun?

Please mention your device/browser and any broken controls or confusing wording. A short comment is enough; no recording, form, or private message needed. This is an unpaid playtest.

For transparency: saving picks in the wider football game requires paid membership or a paid group pass. Neither is needed for this demo. I use AI assistance in development. Thanks for giving it a try.

Unpaid Playtest [Android] Unpaid playtest: does Circuit Wings make dodging and boss attacks readable? (1.6 GB)

I'm developing Circuit Wings, a portrait medieval fantasy shooter where you pilot a flying ship through enemy volleys and fight monster bosses. I'd like fresh eyes on how the game feels on an actual Android phone, especially movement and whether you can understand an attack in time to dodge it. Development uses AI-assisted tools.

This is an unpaid volunteer playtest, free to join. You don't need to buy anything, leave a store rating or give positive feedback. The game is still in development, and finding something frustrating or broken is useful feedback.

Requirements: approximately 1.6 GB download, preferably over Wi-Fi; Android 8+ and a 64-bit ARM device. Google Play decides compatibility and regional availability. English and Thai interfaces are available.

Access through Google Play closed testing: use the same Google account for each step.

  1. Join https://groups.google.com/g/testers-community

  2. Opt in at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.circuitwings.game

  3. Open the Play install link shown there.

Please try the opening flights and, if you reach one, a boss encounter. I'm looking for answers to three questions:

  1. Did installation and the first flight work? For problems, what device, Android/game version and error did you see?

  2. Did touch movement feel responsive, and could you distinguish your ship, hazards and safe spaces?

  3. What was the most enjoyable or confusing moment, especially around a boss? What one change would help most?

Send feedback here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScwOgmAE3D9uymaNjgEfv642kIedlYqH8ZOWfvX7oPWWDj1cg/viewform

Comments are welcome too. If you can help over a longer period, please stay opted in continuously for at least 14 days and revisit the game on a few different days. A clear report of what you actually experienced is more useful than an install alone. Thanks!

Unpaid Playtest iPhone playtest (unpaid): is the first round of Shut Up Fly clear?

I’m the developer of Shut Up Fly, and I’m looking for a few iPhone players to try the first three minutes and tell me where the opening loses them.

It’s a free arcade game with 30-second rounds. You tap landed flies, or drag to aim and release to fire a weapon. It also has a camera-based Fly Sense feature, and I’m especially interested in whether that makes sense to someone coming in cold.

You’ll need an iPhone with iOS 18 or newer. No recording or form needed — a reply here is enough:

• What was the first thing you couldn’t work out?

• Was the camera/Fly Sense explanation clear?

• Did you want to play another round? What made you stop or keep going?

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shut-up-fly/id6797986930

An update is in review, so please test the version available today and mention the version if you can. This is an unpaid playtest. The game uses generative AI extensively in its code, artwork, audio and promotion.

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid Playtest] City Transport Magnate - Android

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo indie developer working on City Transport Magnate, a transport management game where you build roads, develop public transport, manage traffic, and keep a growing city moving.

The game is playable, and I'm looking for people who would like to give it a try and share their thoughts.

My main goal is to make the game as enjoyable as possible for the people who play it. I have my own ideas for how it should work, but I'd love to hear different perspectives, learn what players enjoy, and understand what could be improved or added in the future.

Whether it's feedback on the gameplay, suggestions for new features, or simply your first impressions, every bit of feedback is welcome. The game is still in development, so this is a great time to help shape its future.

Unpaid Playtest [Pre-Alpha] Legends of Hearts – 2.5D Family-Friendly Co-op Platformer (Looking for duos / playtesters!)

Hi everyone, nice to meet you all!

I’m Ahmed, Co-Founder of Legends of Hearts. We are developing a vibrant, family-friendly 2.5D co-op platformer focused entirely on teamwork, puzzle-solving, and non-violent mechanics.

We just officially went live with our Steam and Epic Games Store pages, and we launched our private pre-alpha playtest just a few days ago!

Because teamwork is at the heart of our game, we are giving away 20 Epic Games Store pre-alpha access keys in pairs of two. This way, you and a co-op partner (a friend, sibling, or partner) can jump in and test the game together.

What we are looking for:

  • Honest feedback on the puzzle mechanics, controls, and co-op flow.
  • Players who enjoy casual, wholesome, or cooperative platformers.
  • Bugs, glitches, or balancing issues you encounter during your session.

How to get a key:
Just leave a comment below letting us know who you plan to team up with for the playtest! We will reach out via Reddit DM to send over your 2 Epic Store keys until they are all claimed.

Thank you so much for helping us shape our game. We can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Unpaid Playtest I made a free browser boxing game and I think nothing breaks anymore. Prove me wrong.

I made a free browser boxing game at https://browserboxing.com. It runs entirely in the browser with no download needed. It has been live for a while and I have fixed a ton of issues over time, so at this point I am pretty confident nothing breaks anymore. I would like you to prove me wrong.

If you are new you start with a short interactive tutorial, seven steps covering punching, blocking, taunts, the clinch, fouls and getting back up, and finishing it unlocks matchmaking. Fight Now matches you with real players first and an NPC steps in when nobody is around so you still get a fight. There is also a no-stakes practice mode with AI dummies at browserboxing.com/practice that needs no account and no tutorial, and a spectator lobby where you can watch live fights. Fights involving a guest or an NPC are Casual, and Ranked needs a sign in. Win streaks draw bounties automatically, with up to 1500 bonus XP going to whoever ends the run.

Come play a few rounds and tell me what breaks. I read the comments so leave yours here.
