Yes, she did! That was my favourite hairstyle of hers. I liked it so much I brought a pic to the salon (and will probably do it for this one as well). I love a good bob, although I ain't as attractive as her.

The princess hair calls to mind damsels in distress, pampered “kept” women, and is widely known as men’s preferred hair style.
Short hair/more alternative styles are a rebellion against the male gaze. Bobs specifically first became popular in the 1920s when women were finding autonomy and breaking out of the mold men prefer them to fit into.

I love it. In Oct 2024, I did a big chop into a bob, and have kept it up since. It’s been both one of my easiest hairstyles, and the one people have commented on the most. It just works for my hair. I love when I see others taking the leap! Free yourselves from the tyranny of the long curls/beach waves!
