Discussion New Deafheaven track features The Conet Project samples (also in Even Less 1999)

Today Deafheaven released a new EP 'At Work In The Fields Of The Bomb', and the second track immediately reminded me of PT from the samples used.

I recognize this isn't something only PT has done, considering the list of pop culture references/sampling on the wikipedia page, but it's still pretty cool seeing two very different bands I love share something in common. Any other PT/Deafheaven fans out there?

I did notice that! Going to see Deafheaven for the first time pretty soon, so I’ve been studying up today

saw them at nova rock last year and they blew me away. thanks to that show my dad is now almost exclusively listening to deafheaven lol I love that for him

They're so good! I saw them a couple months back for the first time and was blown away. This new EP is incredible.

What a face-melting sound, love love loved this EP! I thought I was tweaking out when I first heard Three Princes

Yeah I immediately recognized it and even posted about it somewhere else. PT fan since the early 00’s and a Deafheaven listener since Sunbather. Became a fan with the release of Lonely People With Power.
