Portfolio feedback wanted — Senior Product Designer / Design Systems Engineer (15 years of experience)
Hey everyone!
I'm a Senior Product Designer / Design Systems Engineer with around 15 years of experience, my background sits at the intersection of UX/UI design and frontend development, with a strong focus on design systems, product architecture, and bridging the gap between designers and developers.
I've recently updated my portfolio to better showcase my work, particularly my latest case study at Solidaris, where I worked on UX improvements, user research, and building a shared design system across multiple applications.
I'd really appreciate some honest feedback, especially from senior designers, design leads, or hiring managers.
A few things I'm particularly interested in:
- Positioning: Does my portfolio communicate senior/staff-level experience, ownership, and strategic thinking?
- Case studies: Am I showing enough of my decision-making process, challenges, and actual impact?
- Design systems: Does my expertise in design systems and design engineering come across clearly?
- First impressions: If you were hiring for a Senior/Staff Product Designer or Design Engineer role, would this portfolio make you want to interview me? What's missing?
Portfolio: https://danielbodigil.com
Latest case study: https://danielbodigil.com/work/solidaris
Feel free to be critical. I'm genuinely looking to improve, and an outside perspective would be incredibly valuable.
Thanks in advance!

I keep changing my portfolio design and I need to stop
Been feeling insecure for past few months, I think for that reason I have been changing my portfolio design constantly. I need some feedback on where am I heading with this, is this something I should be doing ? Is my portfolio good enough for me to sit back and relax ?

Apparently, all my side projects involve animations
Hey everyone!
I've been working on a few animation-related side projects lately and decided to put them together in a personal portfolio.
It's made with Astro and currently features three projects:
- Loadersz
- a collection of animated canvas loaders.
- a shared tooltip that smoothly moves and resizes between elements.
- animations for streaming text.
- a shared tooltip that smoothly moves and resizes between elements.
- animations for streaming text.
- animations for streaming text.
- Tip Glide
- a shared tooltip that smoothly moves and resizes between elements.
- animations for streaming text.
- animations for streaming text.
- Stream Morph
- animations for streaming text.
I tried to make the portfolio itself a bit more interactive, with animations throughout the site and a showcase for some (imo cool) stuff/ideas.
Curious what you think of the design and how everything feels to use. Especially interested in feedback on the animations, mobile experience and whether it's clear what each project actually does.

Any feedback is welcome!

This is my Portfolio.
portfolio-henriquebering.vercel.appA project that started out as just a standard assignment for my university. But I thought to myself: why not make it more professional and share it to show more of my work? So, I did it. Here is the link, let me know what you think in the comments.

I built an interactive 3D portfolio website, and im looking to sell it.
been working on a portfolio concept called ISLE
Instead of the usual portfolio layout with a hero section, cards, and a navigation bar, the idea was to create an entire little world that visitors can explore.
The website features an interactive island experience, with dedicated sections for About, Projects, Skills, and Contact, alongside navigation designed around the island itself.
The goal was to make a portfolio feel more like an experience than a conventional webpage.
I’m now looking to sell the project to someone who wants a distinctive and personal portfolio website they can customise with their own identity, projects, and information.
Live demo: [https://isleportfolio.vercel.app/\](https://isleportfolio.vercel.app/)
Do take enough time to explore the beauty of the wesbsit
(The details inside the about, projects, skills and contact are demo details for now)
I’m open to discussing the sale of the website and its source code. (Since im a beginner im very much flexible in price)
If you’re interested, feel free to DM me.

Design Feedback
Hi, This is an on going Project, i would like to hear your feedback on the layout and overall design... Thank you in advance.
Some text are just there as placeholders since i'm also doing the copywriting, I'm still working on illustrations since I want the website to communicate visually but it is time consuming and I was dying for feedback
For some context:
This website will have an arabic version that will serve a decent some of user so i had to keep that in mind when doing the design to make sure that the overall composition, typography, and layout adapts well between English and Arabic.
For this landing page, I will be relying a lot on storytelling. We are not to sell a list of services, ask for donations, or anything else, We are trying to sell the idea, the problem, and how we approach it or aim to fix it. "I mentioned sell a lot but this is actually non profit there is no actual selling"
To support the storytelling, i'm not relying on super complicated graphics, and instead, simple animation and scroll behaviours between the screens that feel intentional and could actually help communicate our vision.
This is far from being done, The landing page alone has around 12 distinct sections and 23+ screens. I'm just trying to test the layout and overall design direction we are going for.

[Portfolio Review] Creative Technologist & Interaction Designer – Looking for design & UX critique on experimental interactive portfolio
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for detailed design, layout, and UX feedback on my newly launched interactive portfolio site. Rather than a static grid, the entire experience is built as a continuous, 9,000px panoramic illustration of an Indian bazaar with embedded skeuomorphic micro-apps as case studies.
Portfolio: Link
(Best viewed on desktop/laptop due to horizontal scrolling and browser audio synthesis)
Project Breakdown:
- Focus: Creative Technology, Interaction Design & UI/UX
- Stack/Tools: Figma, HTML5 Canvas, Web Audio API (zero external audio files), CSS 3D transforms, Vanilla JavaScript
- Concept: A scroll-driven street where each storefront launches a functional interactive artifact (a 3D mechanical CD rack, an interactive PCO payphone, physics-driven canvas tea-pourer, custom editorial magazine, etc.)
Specific areas I need feedback on:
- Interaction Friction vs. Novelty: Does the gamified street navigation pull focus away from reviewing the work, or does it showcase technical capability effectively
- Visual Hierarchy & HUD: How are the typography choices, contrast, and status indicators holding up across different screen sizes
- Case Study Clarity: Within the modal components, is the design rationale and problem-solving easy to digest, or does it feel overshadowed by the interactive toy
- First Impressions: From an agency/studio hiring perspective, what is your immediate critique on usability
Any critical feedback or honest pushback on the UX flow is appreciated. Thanks!

Portfolio Thoughts
Hi,
I have been pondering over this recently: whether a portfolio even makes sense for a designer now and how does hiring even work in such a fast changing environment
Would love to know your thoughts.
