LMAOOOO
Sold an Ann Taylor dress a month ago and it was just "Beautiful dress, just much shorter than expected. It was packed with lots of care, thank you for that." 4 stars. Okay I guess. Not my fault. I gave you measurements.
and now the buyer comes back a whole month later to update their listing because of their own fault. Girl I WARNED YOU IT MIGHT BE TOO SMALL in the comments!!!! Wanted to post this because while I'm aware that there are persnickety buyers out there, they're my first (on Posh).

Buyer is an idiot thus it costs the seller 3 stars.
This is Poshmark in 2026

This is the world in 2026. Always someone else’s fault. Sigh

Ain’t that the truth. I had a crabby buyer who didn’t read the listing of what she bought from me and decided it was my fault because I shouldn’t have listed the item in the first place 🙄 they were jeans that had been hemmed. thankfully Posh denied her case.

How dare you sell her something she had to stuff herself into and then busted open!!!

I had a buyer rate me 3 stars because the jeans she purchased were "WAY TOO BIG".
The listing had the size in the title; description; its size and materials tag pictured; along with literally EVERY measurement noted [waist, rise, hip, thigh, knee, Inseam, ankle and length].
I guess I didn't provide her enough information to prevent this issue 🙄🙄🙄 At least she didn't try opening a case over it.

I wish we could rate the buyers.
⭐️⭐️ *poor spelling *makes bad choices *very polite though

It's as if the buyers don't comprehend that they are to rate the TRANSACTION, not the fit, not delivery times, etc.

u/les0101s 17h ago
Doesn't the transaction include all those things?

u/SevereWriter4 14h ago
The fit isn't really the sellers fault especially when OP provided measurements and even cautioned the buyer they may not fit the dress though. And shipping times are out of the our control. The original intent of the "shipping time" bullet was how long it took for the seller to get your item to the post office, not the entire time it took USPS to get your package to you, especially when Poshmark downgraded to Ground Advantage and now it can take over 8 days for you to get your item.

I completely get it! I always provide measurements so when they complain or review lower for fit it drives me insane!
The other thing that drives me insane is when they comment on the listing asking for measurements when it’s already provided. Like please ppl, pay attention!!

Someone opened a posh support return because the item didn’t fit her. I couldn’t help but say- how is it my fault something doesn’t fit you? 😭😂

u/OtherwiseAnteater239 1d ago
They deny those immediately. That’s like the classic thing Posh doesn’t allow

u/Nikolean107 18h ago
I wish they did but I've had a few where it was obviously for fit and posh changed the reason to "not as described." It's usually a case of "I have this item in another color but the one she sold fit differently" despite measurements being included.

Only 5 star reviews appear on sellers rating received page. I think same goes for buyers who give 5 stars.

u/bayb33gurl 1d ago
No - actually that review is private, buyers can't see ANY rating that isn't a 5 star WITH a comment and buyers also can NOT see your average either. So they don't see a 4.9 or a 5.0 or a 2.0 or anything. The review is hidden and the star average is hidden.

u/Amazing_Emergency386 1d ago
Really? So only the seller can see they have 5 stars?
1
u/bayb33gurl 1d ago
Yes, as a seller only you can see your star reviews, your star average and anything that was marked for needing improvement as well as being the only one who can view a comment that was left on a rating of 4 stars or below..Also, since the ONLY thing that's public is the comment that is left on a 5 star review, you as a seller have the full control of removing that from your page and the buyers page with just a couple of clicks. So even if someone leaves a five-star review but then says something snarky in the comment portion, you can delete that from both pages.

I absolutely hate this. Then there are the buyers that ask about measurements on the listing while measurements are at the bottom of the listing. It’s almost like we’re creating a listing as a suggestion in their minds. Such a waste of time and mental energy to have to go back and say ok before YOU chose to purchase did you READ the actual listing?

So in other words this buyer was too fat for the dress and still tried to put her fat ass in the dress because she is delusional.
I am a Poshmark ambassador and take pride with my items.
Everything I send out is steamed, packaged nicely with a thank you note and little gift.
If I told you what the gift was, I would be outing Myself lol,However this clearly is a KAREN who is never happy in any situation whether it’s shopping in a store, restaurant service, etc. thinking she is smaller than she is called body dysmorphia. It is a real thing and once in a while the KAREN will show up in our closet. I can usually tell by the first comment they leave. . I’ve only had one complaint with over 200 sales and it was the buyers fault and after I refunded them to shut them up, I blocked them other than that I do have very good luck.

I appreciate your thoughtfulness into being an ambassador and taking pride in packaging sold items. But - as someone who lives in a tiny house and is VERY limited on space - may I suggest not adding a bonus gift? I’ve been on Poshmark for nearly 12 years and the amount of crap I’ve unnecessarily received in the vein of “free gift” is astounding. I don’t want makeup/cosmetic samples, I don’t want cheap jewelry which will make me itch bc I have a nickel allergy, I don’t want socks or teabags or Anything other than the item(s) I personally selected and paid for. Thank you. 🙏

Actually the small token of appreciation is a couple of different facial masks from Sephora and if they don’t have room in their home or is not something they are into it doesn’t matter what they choose to do with them . Trash can or pass along either way it’s just a kind gesture and just not that serious.

PA2 (Posh Ambassador Level 2) here. People HATE the gifts and as a community we need to stop. If someone sent me bonus face masks I wouldn't use them for concern of age and quality. As sellers we need to give the people what they want. I received socks with an order and now it's one more thing to deal with that I didn't need. I also don't do thank you notes anymore, just a Thank you sticker to seal the package.

Wow that's a little rude. Btw people on here have repeatedly stated that being an ambassador means nothing except you can share 10,000 items sold 15 items wow. Way to go. Plus people repeatedly state please don't include gifts we don't want your items. We just want what we paid for. Accusing someone of an actual psychological disorder is just mean and unless you are a physician you can't dx someone and if you are a hcp dxing a stranger someone based on 6 sentences is grounds for a ding on your medical license. I truly wish you would out your closet name so we could all block you. What am miserable person you must be.

Is she taking it to the ‘tailor’ or the ‘(Ann) Taylor.’ 😆
