Discussion! Caspian and ASIWYFA - Glasgow
Fucking ace. I've never seen either. Listened to Caspian for almost 20 years. Less familiar with ASIWYFA but they rocked, so tight and some super fun stuff. It's so weird seeing guys I've listened to for literal decades as actual people actually playing this stuff. Lots of fun. Appreciate it. Though had to leave a few mins early, guh.
Grabbed the new Caspian on vinyl, got a bone coloured one. The new stuff sounded great.
To top it off, spent the day atop a mountain on perfect weather. Far Country indeed. Absolutely joyous.
Anyone else there? Get some good pics?

Closing with Castles High, Marble Bright is just the best fucking thing. Did the same thing at ArcTangent 2022 and seeing it up close this time was insanely powerful.

I can't really describe it but I knew that piece was good, and had that epic ending. But live it's so loud and in your face it's like 'have you ever really listened to me before, bitch?'
I loved Caspian before but they've gone up a rung for me. I adore the new album.

ASIWYFA finished with The Voiceless in Manchester and blew the roof off with Rory making it into the crowd and shredding.
Caspian always kill it, and Johnny is a sweetheart.

Of course I missed that. Fuck's sake.

He didn’t do it tonight. Voiceless is one of my faves and I’ve seen him do it years ago in ABC2 (rip)

There was a lot of love for Caspian but def felt like a lot of people arrived for ASIWYFA. Still, the vibe was good.

Yeah seemed like more people were there for ASIWYFA tbh

Opposite for me, ironically; ASIWYFA aren’t really my thing. Caspian are possibly my favourite band of all time.

Waited until it cleared a bit! It was a bit off the scale at the start.

Yeah you're right, I got very into it so didn't take many pics
Looking at the picture you took I think you were directly to my left lol

Was there for Caspian, thought sound was a bit off at first but overall it was fucking awesome. Great gig overall.

Something went kind of wrong for the intro to Flowers Of Light, but fuck it - that’s live music for you. They slayed.
