41 +.
Hey guys, first time dad, looking for some tips and help here. We’re just past 41 weeks with an induction planned in 3 days. Babies now quite strong and beating up mom from the inside on a nightly basis and causing her loads of pain and stress.
Any tips to help comfort mom on the final stretch?

Just be there for her. Bring her drinks, snacks when she asks, give her lots of comfort, reassurance and affirmation.

Adding to this, little stuff like a warm bath, a body pillow, and rubbing her lower back can help a ton at night. Also take over every chore you can and get the hospital bag packed now so she isn't stressing about it before the induction.

This plus not making her ask for stuff. Having water and snacks already within reach before she even needs them goes a long way when she's uncomfortable and can barely get off the couch.

Best advice I can give after having 4 kids: just do whatever is asked of you. Nothing you can really do to ease the pain, except be as supportive as possible.
Same once you go to the hospital. Everyone who works there deliver babies all the time. They're the experts. Just do what they tell you and it'll be okay in the end.

Counter pressure on her lower back during the nightly kicks can take the edge off, and a warm bath before bed helped my wife a ton those last few days. You're almost there, just keep reminding her she's doing incredible.

Due dates are scams anyway. Sit tight and be as helpful to her as you can.
