🗨 Interviews anyone got in after they BOMBED their interview?

has anyone with like high gpa (3.8+) and low MCAT (508-509), absolutely bombed their interview, ate on their secondaries, and then someone gotten in? By bombed I mean rambling and not articulating thoughts clearly but still coming off as grateful kind and smart just nervous

i have a 3.87 gpa, 511 MCAT, and did the same. I’ve gotten 2 DO and 1 MD acceptance so far. Don’t worry, trust in yourself, and what’s meant to be is meant to be, good luck!

I don’t know about bombed but the icebreaker question was what cartoon character you’d be and I said SpongeBob because he’s always having a good time. I still got in. I guess other people were more off putting than me hahaha
