đ¨ Interviews Feeling weird after my interview...
My interview was extremely informal. I knew it was going to be conversational but basically the woman was playing solitaire before we started lol and then I walked in and she wanted to talk a lot about our shared interest of tennis (i played in college) and we talked about so much random stuff like ...what are my fav tennis shoes or which books i am reading now, and i think i am very bubbly and personable so we laughed a lot and conversation flowed easily but the whole time i am like... is she gonna ask me why i want to be a physician??
I wanted to leave the impression on my interviewer that i will make a good doctor because of so and so but I felt like it was more like i left the impression of being a nice person to talk to (she said at the end "this was very fun and enjoyable")
anyways, am i being neurotic ?! they better not fucking waitlist me bc the whole interview seemed more like a vibe check

All the random shit she talked about is more important than âwhy drâ that you get asked about 50000x time before you even get there tbh
Yall know how boring it is to hear the same stories over and over? We KNOW you want to be a doctor thatâs why youâre here. I need to know if I can vibe with you or have you as a peer/colleague.

Some of these things are vibe checks. Want to see if youâre a normal functioning human being who was being honest in their app, or neither

Yep. At some point hearing the same answers are boring, so you pivot. Trust the committee to make sure the applicant is otherwise qualified.
Should have thrown at least one or two standard questions in there.

as someone who did 15+ II last cycle, I found there is 0 correlation between how you feel post-II and where you get in
