Thought some people might like this here! I am a self-taught keyboardist who has used music as a kind of spiritual or therapeutic practice for years. My goal is often to reach a kind of trance state,
improvising as a form of meditation. For years I had almost always only played "acoustically" but earlier this year, inspired by artists like Keiji Haino and Boris, began playing around with amplification, plugging my digital piano into a little Orange amp or Vox I have; the recordings typically captured by my phone sitting directly on the amplifier. I am influenced by doom metal, Hindustani, Noise, Jazz, Reggae, and western Classical Music.

This album will be a kind of work in progress- I will try to keep all tracks there once added, but I will be adding tracks, rearranging order,
possibly making minor edits and in some cases adding or modifying titles. Thought some people might enjoy this though so I figured i'd try to share these four tracks with this crowd now. Thanks for listening if you get a chance!

Its been a while since I did a short video 9/16 ratio, so here it is. Enjoy.

The Nomads were from Texas City, Texas. Situations was recorded in 1968

Another track from the Dallas band Kenny and the Kasuals. Let's take a Journey To Tyme

File//764 Programming Not Complete [MHZed]

I’m Jake, an 18 y/o musician from New England. My dream is to make a career out of music and someday sell out a show at TD Garden.

I’ve made this psychedelic EP inspired by the sounds of early tame impala and some of mac demarcos home recordings.

Let me know if you enjoy it and happy listening!

You'll wanna listen all night to these modern-day artists with their garagey/psychedelia vibe, so fire up some incense and turn on that blacklight! 😎

On an EP of sound collage style beats discussing the idea of truths and beliefs.
Enjoy.

Drop your feedback and ideas in the comments below! We’ll review all suggestions to help keep the sub's post flairs organized and easy to navigate.

From Tyler, Texas.

Forests have always intrigued me . And when I lived in a little forestry cottage ,Davagh forest was my backyard. It was a strange and special place , and holds many many memories for me .

The children were a Houston band. They played at my high school after a football game, and the Principal pulled the plug on the band as soon as he walked in the door, shouting out to everyone, "No commies will play at my high school." We met up with the band later..... Memorable!

An eerie, surreal dive into experimental trip hop that explores the sublime intensity of surrendering oneself to a fall.

English translation included for anyone curious about the lyrics. The song alternates between the voices of Lucrecia and Camille and has a dark, surreal, almost dreamlike quality.

¿dónde caes, si caes?
(where do you fall, if you fall?)

¿dónde sueltas tu existir aguado?
(where do you let go of your watered-down existence?)

¿cuándo es que ves tu cuerpo frío e inerte, y tu suerte?
(when do you see your body cold and lifeless, and your fate?)

¿es ahí, sí?, donde entra lo total, lo sublime?
(is it there, yes?, where the absolute, the sublime enters?)

Lucrecia

me vas a arrojar
(you're going to throw me)

a tu pesadilla
(into your nightmare)

tan espectacular
(so spectacular)

un trono de fina
(a throne of fine)

carrocería forjado a medida
(coachwork, forged to measure)

quién va a mirar
(who is going to look at)

ese suelo oscuro
(that dark ground)

un gran lienzo azufre se verá
(a great sulfur-colored canvas will appear)

ah y no va a importarle
(ah, and no one will care)

y lo entierra profundo
(and bury it deep)

Camille

no estaba en tu plan
(it wasn't in your plan)

que el cuerpo fuera
(that the body would become)

un eco de tu gritar
(an echo of your screaming)

de helarse dentro y fuera
(freezing inside and out)

todo se reduce a tu silueta, mi vendetta
(everything is reduced to your silhouette, my vendetta)

dime, ¿dónde estarás?
(tell me, where will you be?)

sigue y grita desde donde estés, amor
(go on and scream from wherever you are, my love)

que nos siga hirviendo la sangre
(let our blood keep boiling)

una exhibición atroz
(a horrific exhibition)

dime, ¿dónde estarás?
(tell me, where will you be?)

me vas a arrojar
(you're going to throw me)

a tu pesadilla
(into your nightmare)

tan espectacular
(so spectacular)

un trono de fina
(a throne of fine)

carrocería
(coachwork)

forjado a medida
(forged to measure)

A music Video I made two years ago.

Lonely is the B-side of Hot Smoke and Sasafras in mono. David Fore, the drummer ,went on to play in the Austin punk band D-Day.

I recently went down a rabbit hole about this obscure Italian psychedelic band called Incantabiss. apparently their music started circulating as rough rehearsal recordings, with no real official release or much information about the band. Somehow it developed a small cult following, especially through Tumblr in Japan, with people making bootlegs, artwork and even T-shirts around these recordings. they're like psych meets italian prog rock, a bit lo-fi since it's all home recordings made in a garage

What's weird is that I've found articles/posts about them in Japanese, italian and spanish, but I can't seem to find anyone actually talking about them in English. their 90+ minute jam Giallo Club NY seems to be the one that keeps coming up. there's also one called audio3 which is super lo-fi
It looks like they're releasing stuff but i never heard any official music
