This is highly unusual indeed. Altruistic food sharing is definitely not a thing among macaques; not even moms share food with their own babies (other than breast milk, of course), but here Momiage is not only tolerating Punch taking her food, which would be unusual enough on its own, but she's actively offering it to him. I would even think that she brought that second branch specifically for him.

How cute are they chomping their mouths on those snackies! Love watching animals eat… it’s so calming and especially my baby, Punch!
