OP has sent messages regarding another sub. We’ve been organizing efforts there so I have not been very responsive. CareerSuccess does need attention. I’d like to bring it to health with my own plan

would love to help you get this group going again. I'm a career consultant who runs findapath, career_advice, cscareers, etc.

Thanks. It feels important not to have someone with financial interest as a mod

Thats fair. I understand not liking a pro with financial incentive, but it can be helpful, too. I have a crapton of expertise and resources. Able to cut through bullshit like wrong/bad/old/parroted career advice, stop hateful shit and judgementalisms, etc.
Modding reddit groups is more about community growth and helping others through tough decisions for me than financial potential, I never advertise other than saying "career consultant here."
BUT I get it. When I became an underling mod of career_advice they had me under strict limitations. Nothing bout my programs. I never did and to this day even as top mod, I still dont. No point, people dont come to reddit to find a career service to invest in. They come for free help and a listening ear.
Totally your choice, either way I am happy to see a dead group come back to life in the career space.
