GAMES & APPS Having an excellent time with my new GOTY contender, Belmont's Curse

Retroid Pocket 6

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse

Droiddeck

Have really been looking forward to the new Castlevania, and boy does it not disappoint. Fast, fluid combat, incredible art direction, really intuitive map flow, it's exactly how to modernize a series. Has immediately shot up to my top 3 in the series with AOS and SOTN.

The game is very playable, hovering between 40 and 60 fps, and I really appreciate the accessibility options like giving Rose and enemies outlines for better visibility

Not very well, it was hovering around 15 fps, pretty much unplayable, even after experimenting with settings

Is this on 8gb or 12gb?

Why not just emulate the Switch version? I feel like you’d get better performance.

The Switch port apparently is pretty rough, they had to compromise a lot. Besides, this runs great

This is one of the reasons I want to buy the Pocket 6. Would be great for train rides.

Any other concerns or gripes? I expect to be running low-end games like Castlevania, Prince of Persia, Sea of Stars, etc.

How is the quick sleep? Does it work well to resume a game?

Quick sleep with Droiddeck works perfect, it pauses SteamOS and resumes fine. Works well with Gamenative too

I have the Retroid G2. Anyone experimenting with it and something like Castlevania?
